Requirements / Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, Curriculum, Instruction and MLL Services, the Director III College and Career Readiness oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of district-wide articulation plans that ensure equity and access to a rigorous course sequence with diverse TK-12 pathways that prepare all students for their opportunities in college or careers. The Director III, College and Career Readiness manages college and career pathways that include UC A-G, industry-standard Career Technical Education (CTE), Early College and dual enrollment that facilitate the development of diverse and equitable educational opportunities for all students. They foster partnerships and work closely with the local community colleges, community partners, business and industry. The Director III, College and Career Readiness supervises the year-long work based learning (WBL) programs.
