Director-His/Privacy Officer-His

Responsible for coordinating policies, procedures, services and system of Health Information Services to include general transcription, and abstracting, medical records completion, storage, and retrieval, hospital wide quality assessment and improvement excluding patent services, utilization review, cancer registry and medical library. Bachelors degree in Health Information Management.# Three-five years of supervisory and administrative experience in health information practices, demonstration of current knowledge for#entire health records function. Knowledge and experience working with computers, information systems, and software relating to medical records. RHIA certification with American Health Information Management Association. Full-Time onsite Knowledgeable in HIPAA Compliance, HIM, Revenue Cycle, Release of Information, and appropriate Joint Commission Standards 5 years experience in a Director level RHIA credentials preferred but will consider RHIT#with significant Director experience
