Job summary

The Red Hat Telco Sales team is looking for a Director to coordinate our global joint go-to-market initiatives with priority network ecosystem partners. In this role, you will help us deliver open source-based network transformation solutions to telcos and large enterprises. You will manage a small team, including associates directly aligned with our telco sales teams in each region, and work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, particularly in Red Hat's Global Partner and Alliances team. This role should ideally be based in Raleigh NC, but we will consider suitably qualified candidates in other locations.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Provide overall management for the go-to-market alignment with priority partners, engaging partners and Red Hat's field teams

  • Ensure consistency in joint go-to-market initiative implementation across all partners transacting on network transformation projects

  • Coordinate individual partner alignment activities (development funds, marketing and field enablement, etc.) in collaboration with alliance management owners and Business team stakeholders, using Global Partner and Alliances team's processes and resources

  • Manage globally distributed associates, track program results, and suggest and implement improvements

Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience in the high-tech or network ecosystem industry; deep understanding of Red Hat, open source, and customer issues in delivering on the promise of network transformation

  • 5+ years of program office coordination experience; demonstrated excellence in delivering results against an aggressive growth plan

  • 5+ years partner or alliance management or direct sales experience

  • Proven ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, presales, sales, and support

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse senior executives and program owners

  • Highly collaborative work style with proven ability to gather consensus and get support for decisive and timely action

  • MBA degree is a plus

The Role Wholesale Financial Crimes Risk Control (WFCRC) is responsible for the coordination, oversight and ultimate execution of Wholesale Banking's commitments to key internal and external stakeholders as it relates to the management of financial crimes risk with the Wholesale Bank. In addition to having responsibility for Wholesale Banking's execution of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program, WFCRC is also responsible for the remediation of the OCC BSA/AML Consent Order. This team will partner with line of business ("LOB"), operations, risk and compliance team members, Wholesale Control Executive Office, Enterprise Financial Crimes Risk Management, Wells Fargo Audit Services, and Testing & Validation to advocate and ensure alignment in scope, purpose, expectations and execution of the Wholesale Financial Crimes Program. The team will achieve this through a focus on strong communication, strategic planning, thoughtful and meaningful tracking/reporting, and timely escalation and change management. The Team The WFCRC Analytics Reporting & Administration (ARA) team's Workforce Strategy team will address current staffing risks and challenges as well as enhance the existing Staffing Adequacy Assessment in terms of sufficiency of headcounts according to (1) system of record data and expected hiring from WFCRC and front line business management projections and (2) the quality of workforce based on experimental and formal learning, BSA/AML and supporting specialty skills. This team will foster team member engagement and manage retention in response to Article VII of the Consent Order. Individual Responsibilities WFCRC's ARA team is seeking a dynamic Business Initiatives Consultant 2 (BIC2) for the Workforce Strategy Team will develop and implement the Wholesale Financial Crimes Risk Control (WFCRC) workforce strategy and create and manage sustainable business as usual processes and tools to promote adequate staffing, engagement, and retention of WFCRC team members. Will collaborate with enterprise partners to optimize implementation of, and drive compliance with, Wells Fargo, Wholesale, and Wholesale Control policies, procedures, and routines to drive organizational and cultural transformation. Specific coverage areas include: performance/talent management (MBOs – including RPOs, Talent Mgmt System, coaching and feedback process), professional development (certifications and memberships, and leadership and professional development, rotational/development programs), team member engagement (TMEC, Day 1 onboarding, community support, location engagement strategy, D&I, etc.), staffing (building the talent pipeline, interviewing, hiring, facilities, BOTS profiles). In general the BIC2 is responsible for leadership of cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives. Examples might include, but are not limited to: finance / operational / executive management review coordination, process improvement and redesign, change management initiatives, ongoing oversight of a leadership / diversity / recognition / Q12 or general program oversight. Provides leadership in the integration /implementation of programs/services/initiatives with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary. Develops metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.
