The global Director of Talent Acquisition is focused on ensuring our ability to attract and select the human capital necessary to enable our strategic growth objectives. The leader must possess the vision and experience necessary to define a global talent acquisition strategy, as well as the operational expertise to optimize each moment in the recruiting lifecycle. This role will require an equal balance of analytic, results-driven, and human-centric skills, combining the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into a compelling narrative, while also effectively communicating, engaging, influencing, and partnering with key stakeholders across the organization and at all levels to successfully meet, or exceed, defined goals and objectives. The global Talent Acquisition leader will collaborate closely with hiring leaders, HR partners and leverage the tools and resources required to attract and select top talent. Finally, this role is the senior-most leader in nCino's Talent Acquisition function, reporting to the Chief People Officer, and will lead a large global team responsible for meeting nCino's hiring goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define a contemporary, results-driven global Talent Acquisition strategy, supported and measured by the appropriate goals, SLAs, KPIs and metrics to ensure successful delivery.

  • Be a thought partner to executive hiring leaders and People Operations team and develop hiring plans which align to the growth strategy of the organization

  • Align closely with Finance and executive leaders to develop hiring forecasts

  • Oversee the organization's contingent labor talent strategy, manage vendor relationships, and internal program processes

  • Lead a global Talent Acquisition team, responsible for meeting clearly defined hiring goals and SLAs based on resource plans

  • Define, manage, and optimize talent hiring timelines; utilize data to identify trends and share analytics via dashboards and reporting

  • Use data, capacity models and trending to assess strengths and gaps within the recruiting process, in pursuit of continuous improvement

  • Develop a focused, high-functioning team to create and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience while making space for creative problem resolution

  • Guide recruiters to develop and implement specific sourcing and recruiting plans with an emphasis on quality and diversity of hires, process efficiency, and a strong recruiting experience for candidates and hiring teams

  • Foster a culture within the team that promotes, recognizes and rewards results, continuous-improvement, best practice sharing and creative and innovative thinking

  • Coach and support team be consultative partners with hiring teams and build overall recruiter capability in planning, sourcing, and assessing talent for their assigned portfolios

  • Define and deploy a global strategy to build pipelines of diverse, underrepresented and talented candidates who will bring new strengths, experiences, and perspectives to nCino.

  • Ensure hiring processes are equitable and inclusive from start to finish

  • Educate organization leaders in the use of interviewing approach, recommend resources and techniques for interviewing, assessing, and evaluating applicants ensuring compliance and consistency

  • Leverage marketing and brand teams on strategies to differentiate the company in the view of top candidates

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)

  • 12+ years' experience in a global talent acquisition role including; 4+ years of experience managing an international team

  • Experience leading talent acquisition through a hypergrowth period

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into actionable talent plans and metrics

  • Exceptional analytical skills: You must be comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating findings in the form of actionable insights

  • Experience establishing and tracking key performance metrics, including return on investment

  • Demonstrated ability to meet overall and aspirational hiring goals

  • Strong operational knowhow, with experience implementing structures, systems, programs, and processes to improve efficiency in all aspects of recruiting

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve challenging, non-linear problems

  • Prior success with introducing new and creative recruiting methods to approach talent acquisition

  • Keenly compliance knowledgeable and proactively researches and integrates compliance into practice

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired:

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • SHRM designation(s)

  • Workday experience

  • Talent Acquisition experience across Americas, EMEA, and APAC

  • Software industry experience
