Ansell is looking for Director, Branding, Corporate Marketing and Communications to join our team in Iselin, NJ!

The Director, Branding, Corporate Marketing has primary ownership over all decisions regarding the Ansell Masterbrand and all product brands (HyFlex, MICROFLEX, GAMMEX, AlphaTec, TouchNTuff, etc). The candidate is an experienced people manager and dynamic team leader that will drive revenue growth by developing impactful global brand strategies, managing global market research projects, improving employee engagement through internal communications activities and positioning Ansell as a sustainability leader.

As an expert in branding, they will establish the new Ansell brand vision and architecture strategy and be accountable for its consistent application across all marketing platforms. This individual will leverage their content development background to direct internal creative and external agencies to develop high quality content for our web site and social channels, strategically framing Ansell as a company that is leading the world to a safer future. This responsibility extends to creation of content that establishes Ansell as a pioneer in sustainability as well as responsibility for Ansell's annual Labor Rights report and Sustainability Report. The candidate will work closely with the Senior Directors of Americas and EMEA/APAC to coordinate Corporate Marketing resources in support of regional campaigns and marketing activities. They will have ultimate responsibility for tracking and measuring the effectiveness of marketing activities across all regions and optimize marketing plans based on learnings.

The candidate will also work with Regional Marketing and Corporate Marketing colleagues to identify and evaluate opportunities for Ansell to expand growth by marketing to new verticals, emerging market regions and/or sales channels. They will lead market research; collect feedback from regional stakeholders; and lead formal quantitative / qualitative studies fielded by external partners to understand customer responses to marketing campaigns. They will make recommendations to leadership on how to plan and optimize campaigns based on market research learnings.

In addition, this role will be instrumental in enhancing our internal communications strategy and overseeing related activities. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in steering significant organizational change initiatives by implementing effective communication strategies, encompassing mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.

What your role will be?

Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Director Corporate Marketing, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead team to develop Ansell and product & service brand strategies that align with new "Safer Future" vision. Ensure uniform implementation across regions, channels and verticals.

  • Direct efforts to position Ansell as a leader in sustainable manufacturing. Lead cross-functional teams of senior BU, R&D, QA, Legal & Guardian leaders to establish new processes to review / approve sustainability claims. Launch Ansell Earth initiative. Develop annual Labor Rights and Sustainability Reports.

  • Align with Senior Directors of Regional Marketing for the Americas and EMEA/APAC on strategic campaign plans to drive revenue growth through effective promotion of Ansell products and services.

  • Steer Product Marketing, Design and Digital Marketing teams to develop high quality and impactful content for Regional Marketing campaigns.

  • Drive Ansell.com strategy, content, and design. Oversee development of content calendar and delegate tasks to Design Studio and Digital Marketing teams to ensure regular, consistent site updates.

  • Generate new business leads and drive revenue by establishing Ansell as a safety leader on social channels. Create an engaging social media presence for the brand.

  • Manage Corporate Marketing Advertising & Promotions budget and track ROI of marketing spend.

  • Build new Global Marketing Dashboard based on mutually agreed-upon KPI's set in collaboration with Regional Marketing and Corporate Marketing leadership. Share out quarterly reports with ELT detailing progress, insights gained, and next steps.

  • Maximize Brand team effectiveness by mentoring members to refine existing skills and build new ones. Cultivate a positive, collaborative culture and work environment.

  • Lead market research for Senior Directors of Corporate Marketing, Regional Marketing Americas and Regional Marketing EMEA/APAC. Identify and evaluate opportunities for Ansell to expand growth by marketing to new verticals, emerging market regions and/or sales channels.

  • Analyze marketing industry best practices, trends, and digital tools / technologies. Evaluate costs and benefits of bringing new practices / tools to Ansell. Make recommendations to Senior Director, Corporate Marketing around adoption of new tools and technologies can improve efficiencies and drive growth.

  • Oversee all internal communications to ensure positive employee engagement. Ensure regular updated to employee intranet and oversee development of all-company e-mails. Develop agendas, presentations and coach senior leaders on talking points for internal Town Halls and company meetings.

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • 15 years of experience in marketing, branding, strategic communications

  • 5 years' experience managing teams

  • 5 years overseeing publication of sustainability reports

  • 5 years overseeing corporate communications, employee engagement or related fields

  • Experience in supporting organizational change initiatives through communication strategies

  • Experience leading social media campaigns

  • Experience managing in-house creative and/or external agency teams

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving goals & objectives

  • Experience working and managing within a matrix organization

  • Experience within a global/multinational environment

  • Experience in leading market research projects

  • Demonstrated experience in people management and leading diverse teams

  • Demonstrated understanding of sustainability frameworks, indicators, and reporting guidelines such as GRI, IIRC, TCFD, or CDP.
