About the role:

  • Responsible for originating, underwriting, closing and monitoring of the largest and most complex real estate loans that are of the highest risk to the Bank.

  • Responsible for all Real Estate Lending loan components including origination, underwriting and closing for the largest and most complex loans.

  • Monitors existing loan portfolios, including loan reviews and site visits.

  • Manages existing accounts and client relationships for large, complex revenue accounts that are of high risk to the Bank.

  • Develops opportunities based on research and prospecting for new clients. Conducts special projects at the direction of management.

  • Solves highly specialized and complex problems that directly impact revenue and/or market reputation. Leverages advanced technical knowledge to develop custom solutions. Cross-sells bank products and services.

  • Generates new business opportunities for the bank such as new loans and related fees.

  • Provides guidance to more junior staff.

  • Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • MBA is preferred.12-15 years of total work experience preferred.

  • Experience in real estate lending or commercial banking preferred.
