To provide strategic enterprise leadership across external/internal communications, advocacy, and social media by partnering with critical functions and stakeholders across the organization to support US Pharma and Franchises business objectives for the Ophthalmology Franchise.
What you will be responsible for:
Strategic communications partnering and counsel. As member of Franchise Leadership teams, lead the development and implementation of franchise communication strategy and plans to support the Franchise strategy, business and employee focused change management initiatives, and brands, and measure effectiveness of efforts.
Team Leadership/Project Management
Strategic external communications for brands. Develops and implements public relations programs for in-line, pre-launch, and launch brands. Close coordination and collaboration with worldwide franchise on strategy and execution to ensure alignment with global and local strategy.
Internal Communications/Employee Engagement Partners with Franchise Head to support communications, employee engagement and culture for full franchise including field-based associates.
Issues management and change communications: Develop and implement strategic communications plan to support issues or change management initiatives impacting the Franchise that minimize disruption, support quick uptake and protect Company reputation
Performance Management Partnering with team to develop metrics to assess impact of key initiatives. Measures outcomes and adapt and evolve strategy. Financial assessment of agencies, measuring outcomes against objectives.
Global Stakeholder Collaboration: Understand the global Novartis organization, competitors and stakeholders that are of importance to the company. Build strong, collaborative relationships with global franchise and function to enable effective strategy planning and implementation. Influence global programs for local execution. Coordinate with other NPC functions on communications issues related to the Franchise as needed.
