Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the VP Revenue Management, this role is an integral part of the Finance and Operations function at HomeServe. The Director, FP&A Operations is responsible for managing the company's financial plan, rolling forecast, budget, analysis of financial results and KPI reporting. This candidate will own all aspects of the Operations P&L and will provide key insights for the Executive management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key business owners to prepare annual budget presentations, strategic plans and monthly re-forecasts

  • Work with analysts to summarize complex data, ideas, and concepts into meaningful information for all existing and newly acquired HVAC companies

  • Oversee P&L reporting and KPI's and offer insights and variance analysis on a monthly basis

  • Work with analysts at the local depot and corporate level to develop new, dynamic models while enhancing complex existing models

  • Consolidate and prepare monthly business review document each month

  • Provide weekly financial updates to senior management

  • Work with analysts to review KPI's and trending analysis. Make insightful recommendations based on data in an effort to increase efficiencies and lower operating expenses

  • Consolidate and own all aspects of the Operations P&L

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy and validity of the information being reported

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred

  • CPA/MBA preferred

  • 10 + years of financial analysis and strategic business planning experience

  • Proven track record of developing and building a team of professional financial analysts and Managers

  • Expert in turning massive amounts of raw data into a detailed financial model

  • Expert in Hyperion Planning and Excel

  • Ability to effectively partner and influence senior level cross-functional teams

  • Flexible travel schedule

  • Guide, motivate, and develop a team of up to 5 direct reports

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems

This role will be a one person digital editorial team that will identify and develop compelling digital stories from Xerox and our partners to bring the company, its strategy and people to life both internally and externally. The story will originate from input gathered by the executives, and how their work/teams will drive the transformation of the company. It will work, in partnership, with key executives to share the revenue growth stories. You will work within Xerox and with our partners to identify and develop compelling digital content to shape corporate culture (not just corporate propaganda) to achieve strategic goals of organization.
