Requirements / Qualifications

Education, Training, and Experience: A Bachelor's degree with a major in finance, accounting, or other field closely related to the technical duties and knowledge requirements of the classification from an institution of higher learning accrediting organization recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation, and Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience at the level of Accountant or higher, which included at least three (3) years of supervisory responsibility in a similar work capacity.

Public school district experience is highly desirable. Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements: A valid California driver's license Proof of automobile liability insurability coverage. California CPA license is highly desirable.
