What you'll do...

We are seeking a Director, Financial Reporting & Controls professional in our New York, NY office.

Duties: Oversee all Controllership responsibilities and teams for Wal-Mart's Digital Consumer Brands division including Bonobos, Jet, and Eloquii.

Lead the Digital Consumer Brand's monthly close processes as well as the consolidation processes. Review the monthly Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and P&L Performance against plans, forecasts, and/or other expectations. Lead the continued integration of Digital Consumer Brands including any opportunities to drive a cross-functional support structure.

Support the implementation of key information technology systems with financial implications. Maintain and review the accounting watch list and share information with the Financial Planning Association (FP&A) and other relevant parties. Ensure baseline controls have been implemented and are operating effectively.

Support business initiatives (i.e., cross-platform activities, new product launches, M&A activities, etc.). Review company policies and support assessments and implementations of new accounting standards (USGAAP) and Wal-Mart policies. Partner with Shared Services as necessary to support centralized and standardized accounting processes. Supervise two (2) employees ((1) Senior Manager Financial Reporting & Controls and (1) Manager, Financial Reporting & Controls).

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field; OR 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related area.

Required Certification: Certified Public Accountant OR Chartered Accountant.

Skills required: 2 years of supervisory experience in finance or accounting. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the following skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of USGAAP Accounting Rules including retail accounting methods. Demonstrated knowledge of the COSO Integration Framework for internal control and corporate governance. Demonstrated knowledge of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FPCA). Experience with the Oracle Hyperion Financial Management tool.

Demonstrated knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems. Experience with financial systems:

SAP ERP and Essbase. Experience scoping, designing, and running financial processes, including process mapping tools, controls, and systems within a retail business.
