Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

The primary purpose of this role is to provide strong strategic and financial support to the Prestige Artisanal Fragrance (PAF) and New Brands Empowerment (NBE) teams as part of the Finance Planning and Analysis function (reporting to the VP of Finance and Strategy). This position requires working closely with the various PAF/NBE finance teams (JML, LL, FM, BK, Becca) to guide them and create an FP&A center of excellence for them to leverage ELC reporting and BI tools and use standard FP&A reporting for the cluster.
The finance Director must be able to communicate and translate financial data into value added business information to enable the various brands and PAF Cluster to better identify growth opportunities, address gaps and manage risks, as well as participate in the development of Executive level presentations of business analysis.
Leads the PAF/NBE brands budget process with support on financial model template development, training and education of brand finance teams and supporting the translation of revenue and OPEX strategy into financial plans
Support the PAF team with reports and Analysis for the Fragrance Portfolio Strategy
Prepare monthly performance reports for the PAF/NME senior leadership, include YTD actual results and the monthly Estimate deck using the ELC reporting system and SAP.
Provide insights and commentary on the YTD and the brands Estimate. Connect with the brands to identify and understand the main gaps to Plan, Prior Estimate and Prior Year.
Manage the preparation of the Sales Flash report for the NBE and Fragrance brands group to provide instant insight for senior management on the brands performance
Utilize the ELC BI tools and Market analysis reports to provide insights for the Fragrance brands and NBE brands including SKU analysis, Pricing, Markets Opportunities, Hero Products Performance, Channel mix and Door profitability, Competitive analysis and Market Share, Gross to Net, and COGS analysis.
Develop BI Dashboard for Brands Cluster (PAF and NBE brands), develop and track KPIs for the PAF cluster
Analysis of the minority interest brands performance and provide business insights for BOD meeting
Review the FSS, DS, TR doors economics and provide feedback to the brands regarding ROI and door profitability. Assist the non-integrated brand with the Actual/ Estimate/ Long Range Plan CAPEX reporting in BPC system. Managing the CAPEX hierarchy approval for the SAP and Non SAP brands.
Provide Training and Guidance for NBE brands with ELC Chart of Account, Operating Expenses classification in ELC reporting system, System Access, BI tools, ELC accounting policies, Estimate/Rolling Forecast and Budget upload
Manage the process of tracking the Acquisition Brands Joint Business Plan compare to Actual and Long-Range Plan to provide insights on growth opportunities and Profitability and provide insights to management
Develop bottom COGS analysis down to SKU level working with ELC supply chain to provide more clarity to the brands on their COGs and Inventory

Position requires MBA or equivalent working experience (8 years). Basic knowledge in accounting is preferable.

Ability to explain, at a high level, objectives, goals and variances to both financial and non-financial Senior Management

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, experience in data base analysis and BI tools, experience with budgeting.
Experience with SAP/ CPM / SAP Hana / Tableau a plus
