Responsibilities:

  • Leading Implementations (Billable): The Director, Finance Transformation Consulting will lead the in-depth discovery, design, and deployment of our transformation projects to streamline the financial close and enabling continuous accounting capabilities (most notably for intercompany).

  • Driving Sales: The Director, Finance Transformation Consulting will also work closely with sales, product and services throughout the entire deal lifecycle. They will lead the initial discovery and engagement aspects of the pursuit through to the final proposal and statement of work. In addition, they will work with sales and marketing to expand our pipeline and close large strategic deals

  • Delivery & Support: Finance Transformation Consultants are responsible for maintaining the key client relationships they established during the sale process to ensure we are meeting expectations throughout delivery and support. They will also help drive the client solution roadmap working closely with implementations, customer success managers, and the product team

  • Go-to-Market Assets: The Director, Finance Transformation Consulting will help lead the ongoing development of our strategic product playbook and demonstration environment. In addition, they will lead the ongoing training to our broader community of Solution Consultants. Working closely with product, marketing and service they will assist in the development of other assets (e.g., workshop enablers, use cases, competitive comparisons, sales/partner training, whitepapers, webcasts, etc.) and help with evangelizing our strategic products

  • Hands-on: The Director, Finance Transformation Consulting is expected to roll up their sleeves and fill gaps where necessary to make the product successful for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with prospects/clients

  • Proven ability to translate prospective client objectives into solutions enabled by our strategic products

  • Experience selling and managing large transformational projects at strategic accounts

  • Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations

  • 10+ years of experience managing a team of finance transformation consultants focused on process improvement and technology enablement

  • CPA preferred

  • Up to 75% travel required

Reporting to the Managing Director Head of FMA Project Change Management Group (PCMG), this position will provide program and project management services and act as a subject matter expert, where needed, for assigned strategic initiatives across the Data Transformation Functions. This role will help provide direct program and project management support in the area of planning, development, and execution for existing and new projects. Major Responsibilities: * Supports the overall leadership and oversight of the project portfolio for the Data and Reporting Delivery Transformation functions by helping to manage the portfolio which consists of multiple complex, cross-functional projects in support of strategic business initiatives and regulatory requirements. * May directly manage projects as needed, including strategy, project plan development, coordination of project team, deliverables, testing, and implementation. * Assist in planning and leading the execution of complex, cross-functional implementations or integrations (including vendor selection, contracts administration, coordination with IT delivery partners, issue management, escalation, management communications, KPI tracking and reporting) * Provide selected program guidance to the individual program and project managers. * Direct and advise PMs in support of project/program objectives. Manage multiple projects and/or multiple PMs concurrently. * Provide inputs to summarized status and financial reporting and monitoring which go to the Head of Project and Change Management, Business Leads, EPMO, IMO or other key stakeholders * Liaise with other groups (e.g. IT, CDO, Risk, Operations, Legal, etc.) for coordination on programs and projects. * Assist in Investigating and developing resolution of complex business or project issues, including analysis, solution facilitation and development, approval, management communication, and implementation. * Plays an active role in the implementation and/or administration of project governance requirements. * Provide feedback for process improvement, lessons learned, program enhancements, and strategic alignment with business or other programs. * Develop and deliver management and project-related presentations as needed. * Support project portfolio governance as needed and development of best-in-class tools and reporting for effective and transparent project governance. Qualifications: Requirements: * A BA/BS degree from a 4-year college * MBA, CPA, and/or PMP certification preferred but not required * 10+ years of experience in Finance/Risk as a function manager, project manager, or comparable experience * Banking industry experience and knowledge of banking organization, operations and technology * General Ledger and Regulatory Reporting systems knowledge * Big 4 or top tier management consulting experience preferred but not required * Experience leading and managing large projects from start to finish with specific experience in: * Finance and accounting system implementations or conversions * Process improvement assessments / implementation * Turnaround, tight timeline, and/or crisis environments Additional Qualifications: * Must possess strong leadership skills and be very proactive in approach. * Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player. * Ability to be an influential business partner who can lead through influence and garner support from cross-functional executives. * Strong presentation skills; ability to present to large groups and to senior management. * Ability to lead meetings, facilitate resolution of differing views. * Ability to work independently and with all levels of management within and outside of Finance and to negotiate matters on behalf of senior management.
