Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson's Enterprise Networking and Security business. How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions looking for a personable and knowledgeable Director of Finance to join its Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Finance Transformation Team. This FP&A role will focus on driving best in class process, reporting and collaboration across a fast-paced organization. The right person for this role must exhibit great interpersonal skills, solid business acumen, and a strong sense of teamwork!

This is a mission-critical role where you will partner directly with functional FP&A business partners and leadership to set cadence and requirements in areas of financial strategy, planning and forecast. This new hire is expected to quickly establish yourself as a trusted partner and advisor on topics including financial planning & modeling, ROI analysis, management reporting, and ad hoc modeling analyses.

What Will You Do?

  • Become a trusted advisor on all things FP&A and transformation related activities

  • Develop and manage central FP&A team of two

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements in finance processes, governance, technology and reporting

  • Develop close collaboration and effective communication across geographically dispersed FP&A team members

  • Prepare financial forecasts and modeling to ensure the financial viability of functional plans

  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling

  • Support all M&A activities

  • Report on progress against annual objectives and actuals vs plan

  • Develop, validate, improve, and challenge the quality and accuracy of status quo management reporting

  • Prepare and track business and investment cases, ensuring robust challenge to key business assumptions and key investment criteria

  • Monitor the effectiveness of Finance policies, practices, and processes to foster continuous improvement

  • Ensure key deliverables for financial close, forecast reviews, and annual business plans are met

  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, consolidation, or related duties as required or assigned

  • Drive the financial planning process, including medium, short-term, and quarterly forecasting to ensure all plans and forecasts accurately reflect business strategy and requirements for the organization

  • Drive the process to translate business line strategy into financial plans and targets, offering robust and insightful challenge during the budgeting and forecasting process

  • Ensure all month-end and quarter-end financial processes are performed accurately and on a timely basis

  • Develop and help the FP&A team to implement new, and optimize current Finance systems, including Adaptive Insights and Tableau-based reporting

  • Passion for innovative Finance solutions and process improvement

  • Support VP of Finance on all relative matters and assignments

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High energy with a hands-on "doer" mentality, sound judgment, and strong business acumen

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in senior financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roles

  • Proven leadership, analytical, influencing, and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts and possible solutions and corrective actions

  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with integrity and professionalism

  • Passion for teamwork, serving our people, and supporting the success of our business

  • Trust and transparency - being respectful of others and a straight shooter is imperative to getting the work done

  • Humility and eagerness to succeed - you must be willing to learn something new or do things in a different way, we move fast, so a sense of urgency is important!

  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and project management skills - you must be driven and/or take pride in your work

  • This role is open to those based in Santa Clara or remote but travel will be expected as needed

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Prior experience with implementation of forecasting tool

At Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

$162,400.00 - $301,600.00

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus and a cash-based long-term incentive. These variable pay opportunities are dependent upon the attainment of goals and objectives as determined by our Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your work-life balance is important to us. Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays).  Please note that an employee's FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. We also offer paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
