Position Purpose: Direct, negotiate and handle activities of the business unit's finance department and aid in formulating and administering organization financial policies and procedures.

Monitor business processes and systems to assure integrity in information and systems

Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial reports

Review, communicate, and present strategic plans, operating budgets and forecasts

Establish targets and measures that are appropriate for the site and are directly linked to business unit and corporate objectives. Evaluate program effectiveness and ensure reporting accuracy

Provide financial plan for performance variances, operating alternatives, program and investment initiatives, etc.

Interpret financial reports for management team

Serve as contact for the State, corporate and business unit functions regarding financial matters

Monitor legislative and political developments affecting the business unit from a financial perspective.

Coordinate political contribution activity, interact with lobbyists, attend political fundraisers, and ensure compliance with political contribution statutes.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. 5 years of accounting, financial analysis or finance related experience.

Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff. Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis, information systems and health care or insurance preferred.

Partners with BU leadership team to drive tangible value for E2Open and its customers through timely and proactive financial and operational analysis to facilitate sound business decisions. Job Description * Owns key FP&A activities: plan - budget - forecast - actuals management. * Leverages Adaptive Planning for weekly forecast and annual plan submission as well as budget to actual variance analysis. * Perform weekly financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking * Manage the OpEx budget (HC and variable) for BU Sales and Services organizations. * Provide Deal Support in partnership with the BU sales teams and revenue accounting team. * Assist in Commission analysis and YTD rep attainment as the bridge between commissions and sales teams. * Partner with other business units leads and corporate FP&A teams to develop plans that drive growth and results. * Ensure application of efficient financial and operating controls supporting business's requirement for an effective control environment. * Recommends plans that help enable BU leadership to meet its business and financial objectives as a leader and contributor to the team. * Provide a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities to assure sound analyses, recommendations, and actionable data points across a wide range of business or financial problems. Qualifications and Experiences: * Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a college or university in a business related field (Finance or Accounting preferred) plus a minimum of 8 years related experience, Corporate FP&A, MNC, Software Industry preferred * Requires strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles * Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. * Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team * Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as Microsoft Great Plains (GP), Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, SAP Concur, Netsuite and Wave Analytics, OpenAir. * Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong work ethic and adaptable. * Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
