Director - Facilities Maintenance

EWU is currently seeking a Director of Facilities Maintenance. This position will report to our Associate Vice President of Facilities. The Director of Facilities Maintenance is the leader of university facilities operations and maintenance, supervising our trade shops during the delivery of building maintenance, operations, and small in-house construction projects. This position will lead the department in maintenance and operations of university facilities and provide leadership for exceptional customer service for university departments.

• We are seeking strong leadership and supervisory skills as well as project management expertise.

• This position will lead and manage the resources and staff of the Facilities Maintenance department to support the university strategic plan and the Facilities Master Plan. This includes creative and effective responses to day-to-day operations and emergency needs of university facilities.

• This position is responsible for the following areas:

Boiler Plant Maintenance

Access Controls

Energy Management Systems Maintenance

Electrical Maintenance

Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Plumbing Maintenance

Fabrications

Housing Maintenance

Workforce Construction

Building Maintenance

Paint Maintenance
