POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Expressive Analytics is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for shaping and executing the data strategy related to both patient and employee engagement outcome measures. This position oversees a dedicated team focused on integrating diverse feedback channels to create a comprehensive and actionable intersection of insights.
By leveraging these insights, the Director aims to drive a competitive edge within the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing innovative data strategies that effectively capture, analyze, and utilize feedback from patients and employees. The Director will ensure the collection of high-quality data, facilitating its transformation into meaningful metrics that reflect the organization's performance and engagement levels.
This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, patient and employee engagement dynamics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. The Director of Expressive Analytics will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of feedback mechanisms across the organization. They will lead the development of advanced analytics models and tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, the Director will play a crucial role in communicating insights and recommendations to senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in related field is required. Master's Degree required or 5 years' experience in lieu of Master's Degree.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) preferred
EXPERIENCE: To excel as the Director of Expressive Analytics, the ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in analyzing patient and/or employee engagement data.
This involves a thorough understanding of engagement dynamics, metrics, and the methodologies used to gather and interpret such data. Proven experience in transforming complex data into actionable insights is essential, as is a strong track record of applying these insights to drive organizational improvements and competitive advantages.
Leadership experience is crucial for this role. The candidate should have demonstrated capabilities in leading teams, both formally and informally, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
This includes mentoring team members, managing cross-functional projects, and effectively communicating complex data concepts to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations, is required. The candidate should also be adept with other relevant data analytics tools and software, such as SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI to ensure robust data management and reporting capabilities.
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and experience with data visualization techniques will be advantageous. Additionally, the candidate must exhibit strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital to articulate data-driven insights and recommendations clearly and effectively. A background in healthcare analytics or a related field will help the necessary context and depth of knowledge to address the specific challenges and opportunities within the healthcare industry.
