Director, Evmsmg Information Systems

Overview

Serves as the Director of MIS for EVMS Heath Services. Responsible for MIS installations.

Serves as a MIS consultant to management. Reports to the Executive Director of EVMS Health Services

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise MIS EVMS HS department staff. Directs planning activities of the MIS department.

Serves as a consultant to administration on defining needs, parameters, and priorities of information technology to be used. Responsible for reviewing feasibility of projects and establishing work standards. Provides technical assistance and information systems utilization.

Recommends hardware and software to be acquired/developed and implemented. Assist with other projects and duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Director EVMS HS.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience plus seven (7) years of progressively more responsible positions in management information systems.
