We're seeking an experienced lawyer with investigations expertise to serve as Director, Ethics based in our Denver, Colorado office (global headquarters). In this role, you will conduct ethics investigations and enhance ethics programs and initiatives for the Company's Ethics Office. The Ethics Office is part of the General Counsel's Office and administers the Company's Code of Conduct, conducts ethics training, manages ethics complaints and matters, develops ethics reporting and other functions to promote an ethical culture.
You will report to the Chief Ethics Officer in continuing to develop and maintain a best in class ethics program covering all of the Company's global regions, which include North America, LACA, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and APAC. Manage and conduct ethics investigations in the US and the Company's global regions, relating to reports of violations of the company's Code of Conduct or policies, including reports of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, accounting or auditing concerns, fraud, conflicts of interest, misuse of company property, safety concerns, and other ethics-related issues
Develop investigation plans, conduct interviews, provide recommendations and support the investigation process, protocol and timelines of the Ethics Office
Document matters in a case management system to support tracking, reporting and analysis of ethics matters
Collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and Employee Relations partners and teams in Security, Compliance and the business to ensure proper oversight of ethics-related matters
Support Ethics Office programs, including maintaining and updating the Code of Conduct and ethics-related policies, conducting ethics training, providing ethics reporting, and other ethics-related work and projects
Provide input and recommendations for the online Ethics Office training program and develop and provide in-person or other ethics training
Collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and Employee Relations partners, and teams in Security, IT, Compliance and the business to ensure proper oversight of ethics-related matters, and to help drive a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification and assessment concerning ethics-related risks
Provide direction on the implementation of new ethics-related laws and regulations globally
Proactively identify compliance and regulatory issues affecting the company's compliance with ethics-related laws and regulations
Review ethics-related provisions in contracts, and internal and external documents, policies, and operating procedures
Support the day-to-day duties of the Ethics Office
Provide leadership on enhancing and implementing an ethics program that works well within a matrixed organization by incorporating global level policies, standards, controls and operational procedures and protocols
What you will need to succeed:
Excellent investigation skills, including strong experience leading and conducting investigations involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, fraud, or violations of law
Ability to establish rapport, confidence, and trust with employees at all levels from entry level to executive
Excellent logic, analysis, critical-thinking, problem solving, and negotiation skills
Ability to effectively manage confidential and/or legally privileged matter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confident presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Willingness to be based in Denver, Colorado
Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel are desirable as well as file sharing systems such as Box
Ability to travel, including on short or limited notice.
What will make you stand out:
Law degree from ABA accredited law school, strongly preferred
Must be admitted to practice law in at least one state in the US
Significant investigations-related work experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm advising on employment, compliance or investigations (6-9 years)
Experience working for or in a global organization
Spanish language skills helpful but not a requirement
