The Director of ESHQ will be responsible for all safety, environmental, health, security & quality programs for Care Americas of the Nutrition & Care Segment operations, products, and personnel. You will;

  • Direct, implement, and audit compliance programs

  • Ensures execution of policies & provides mentorship to personnel

  • Lead all remedial activities, and secures all permits and product registrations

  • Serve as the senior environmental, safety, health, quality, security representative and advocate for local, state and federal authorities, as well as for trade associations and local outreach initiatives


  • Direct permitting and registration of facility EHS permits (air, water, waste), and EHS product registrations (EPA: TSCA, FIFRA, FDA, USDA, CEPA (DSL), Mexican EPA, & state agencies).

  • Develop & direct the Care Americas Product Stewardship, Advocacy & Management Systems, Culture and Corp/Segment annual initiatives.

  • Develop, direct, and audit corporate environmental, health, safety, security, quality, and compliance (EHSQ) programs for the Americas.

  • Support the segment EHSQ policy and provide mentorship for Care Operations in the Americas, Laboratories, and Business Lines.

  • Provide EHSQ support and develop corporate EHSQ performance measures and continuous improvement programs

  • Support with other safety programs for our employees, Chemistries, customers, & the public.


  • Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related EHS field experience, complimented by 7 years of environmental, safety or health experience and prior EHS project management experience

  • Deep understanding of EHSQ matters, specifically in Product Registration, Product Regulation, and Advocacy.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with all levels of management, employees, customers and government agencies.

  • Consistent track record of your strong leadership skills

  • Strong Negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
