TheDirector, Change Management will play a critical role in building changecapability and organizational resiliency in our global organization, coachingbusiness leaders on change management strategies, and providing change managementleadership for our global business process and technology transformation. Thedirector will be able to link practical change management practices to drivingproject ROI and achieving company strategy.

Throughregular interaction with key business leaders and the EPMO, the director willassess, develop and implement change management strategies and plans that readythe organization for change by minimizing employee resistance and businessdisruption, maximizing employee engagement, and driving faster adoption of thechanges impacting employees in the organization. This role will be athought-leader and advocate for the global Change Management Office (CMO). Additionally,the director will play a key role in professionalizing the internal global

Change Management capability for Anixter and modeling change management bestpractices.

ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaboratingwith Anixter's consulting partner to lead the change management and trainingefforts associated with our enterprise business process and technologytransformation.

  • ApplyingAnixter's change management approach and methodology for both the process andpeople side of change related to business process, technology, culture, andM&A efforts.

  • Contributinghands-on leadership and guiding the work of other change managementpractitioners.

  • Developingbusiness change strategies and executing project-based change deliverables forkey initiatives including visioning, stakeholder engagement, change risk andreadiness assessment, communications, organizational impact analysis, alignmentand transition, and sustainability.

  • Articulatingthe change, identifying stakeholders, assessing the impact, and communicatingto the organization.

  • Developinga change management strategy based on understanding the details of theorganization and the groups (stakeholders) being impacted.

  • Proactivelyidentifying potential people risks and anticipating resistance; developingspecific plans to mitigate or address concerns.

  • Developingan actionable and targeted organizational alignment plan for sponsor andstakeholder management which includes communication, coaching, education andresistance management.

  • Supportingthe execution of plans by managers and business leaders.

  • Providingactive and visible coaching to leaders who are change sponsors.

  • Creatingand enabling reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.

  • Creatingand managing measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiencyof individual changes.

  • Identifying,managing and resolving resistance and performance gaps; developing andimplementing corrective actions.

  • Workingwith project teams to integrate change management activities into the overallproject plan.

EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE:

Preferred Degree:

Master's Degree in Business, Communications, Leadership,Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Human Resources or related discipline fromaccredited university.

Certificate(s):

  • ProsciChange Management professional certification preferred; others are a plus

  • LeanSix Sigma and PMP certification a plus

Experience:

  • 10+years of Change Management experience required; 5+ of which will be as a partof a consulting organization.

  • Experienceas an internal consultant in a corporate environment, a plus.

  • Experiencein sales and distribution, a plus.

  • Asolid understanding of how people experience change and the psychology ofchange.

  • Expertknowledge in change management principles and methodologies.
