Primary Responsibilities:

Lead the development, design and delivery of senior leader executive development experiences within the Accelerated Leadership Development team. The Accelerated Leadership Development team provides differentiated learning to advance the readiness of global top talent leadership across the enterprise.

  • Leads the approach, design and delivery of the Senior Executive Development Experiences, for UnitedHealth Group's highest level of leadership development

  • Creates bench building experiences across the global enterprise that drive future strategic leadership needs

  • Leads gap analysis and insights to determine development opportunities across the organization

  • Drives experience measurement by working closely with talent analytics organization to gain insight of organization impacts and ROI

  • Utilizes proven methodologies for needs assessment including data collection processes to ensure experiences are business strategy relevant

  • Leverages next in class practices to ensure the success of future design components

  • Identifies emerging internal and external talent trends, conducting organizational benchmarking and providing insights on how to evolve and drive a talent development mindset and behaviors across the enterprise

  • Influences leaders to strengthen a development culture and align strategic elements across UnitedHealth Group

  • Engages world class global vendor partners where appropriate. Develops clear service-level agreements and ensures product and/or service achieves stated business goals

  • Supports our predictive analytics solutions by partnering with the talent analytics organization and business talent strategy leaders

  • Drives Talent Management strategy by closely partnering with talent strategy leaders, Human Capital leaders and executive stakeholders across the enterprise as well as Talent Analytic professionals to ensure the successful identification and development of UnitedHealth Group's senior leadership bench

  • Provides consulting to Human Capital Partners to create meaningful development solutions that ensure readiness for future critical roles

Successful candidates should thrive in a role working with the top leadership levels in a large enterprise; have strong organizational skills; can sort through complexities and synthesize information rapidly; have a long-term perspective and ability to act ahead of needs and drive continuous improvement; excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) interpersonal skill and emotional intelligence skills; proven ability to work well under pressure, in an ambiguous atmosphere; proven experience fostering team work and collaboration, promotes team work within and across groups; Proven track record of influencing without authority - up, down, and across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 10 years of experience in Leadership Development, OD, HRD at senior leadership levels

  • Experience providing significant thought leadership within a global COE on next practices in some or all of the following functions: Senior Leadership Development, Succession Management, Performance Management, OD/OE

  • Experience with a Fortune 100 or similar company - able to flex between being strategic to hands-on delivery

  • Experience in roles that required strategic planning, critical thinking, project and process management, communication and change management across major business units

  • Analytical capabilities within a talent development practice

  • Experience with communicating and influencing at C-suite level

  • Experience accelerating business objectives and enable a broader view of company-wide talent to ensure we have the talent to meet current and future needs

  • Strong project and program management skills (Can sort through complexities and synthesize information rapidly)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • 7 years of complex facilitation experience at the most senior / C-suite level

  • Second language capability

Time) Special Operations Team, which is responsible for leading a quality transformation as well as day to day execution of our quality operating model, systems strategy, standardization of metrics, reporting and analytics and leading various quality initiatives which align with the new mission and vision of QuEST. Individuals within the QuEST Special Operations Team are ultimately responsible for effective collaboration, communication, problem solving, change management, and innovation at both the executive level as well as with front line staff – we serve as change agents tasked with developing a culture of identifying constituent pain points (people, process, technology) and implementing opportunities to improve the constituent experience. The Associate Director of Quality, Metrics, Reporting & Analytics will be responsible for developing and managing new capabilities across the Quality organization focused on standardized metrics that provide timely and actionable insights and root cause analysis to the UnitedHealthcare Benefit Operations enterprise. This role will act as the functional owner in all efforts related to management, development and support of QuEST metrics, reporting, analytics and related processes. In addition, this position is accountable for creating and leading the team that will manage data requests and analytics to support Quality activities including value stream mapping, required audit programs and operational process monitoring. Primary Responsibilities: * Establish and lead a highly effective team to manage quality-related capabilities and operational processes to deliver operational metrics, reporting and analytics required to enable data driven decision making * Lead team of 8 to 10 FTE's responsible for managing and delivering metrics, reporting and analytics capabilities across the QuEST, and Business Operations teams * Lead the definition, implementation and governance of the quality metrics program to manage definitions, data accuracy, consistency, quality and security * Collaborate with the QuEST and UHC Operations Leaders, Partners and Subject Matter Experts to design, build, manage and optimize reporting and analytics solutions to maximize the use of data assets across the Benefit Operations enterprise to support the Customer Focused Quality Model * Leverage statistical modeling to develop balanced scorecards that provide relevant business insights to improve business outcomes * Identify, manage and complete requests to implement new reporting metrics, on-gong operational reporting and/or data solutions required to enhance and support the quality process * Define, track, and monitor key success measures associated with data related operational processes and projects * Successfully deploy and support change management and appropriate training plans. * Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate the successful accomplishment of key initiatives.
