WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

NIKE is seeking a Director, Digital Production to be a key leader within the Global Creative Operations function. We are looking for a motivated innovator who can support and develop ways of working for a centralized Digital Production team. The ideal candidate is a team leader who is collaborative, solutions-oriented, and passionate about bringing best-in-class creative to life, through digital channels!

This person will be responsible for developing scalable solutions to maintain a slim centralized production team. They will pilot creative solutions around automation, and bring forward new ways of working. Prior experience collaborating with both creative and operational partners is vital. Also being proficient in managing internal and external partners is crucial.

We expect this leader to take enterprise strategy & direction and apply it directly to the team they will lead. They should have proven experience working at scale and be able to lead complex work streams independently, managing and prioritizing their time, as well as the entire studio teams' per Nike enterprise goals and strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Director, Digital Production, will be responsible for the operational efficiency and well-being of all workstreams within the centralized Digital Production team.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Aligning the Digital Production Studio resources to Global Brand Marketing & Creative priority workstreams, and resourcing accordingly

  • Piloting external partners and ways of working with the intent of establishing a long-term, scalable team model

  • Partnering cross-functionally to make sure the studio is always running best practices

  • Establishing training programs for Brand Creative teammates

  • Tracking all studio workstreams through delivery, communicating with Content Operational partners

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

They will also be responsible for partnership, communication, and problem-solving with other Creative Operations Directors along with other key functional leaders within the organization, including Geography partners.

They will lead and manage a team of Digital Producers who will connect directly with internal and external teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Creative and / or Digital production management(One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 6 yrs; Masters + 7 yrs; Associates degree + 9yrs; High School + 10 yrs)

  • Proven track record of motivating teams, managing ambiguity, and effectively collaborating in decision-making

  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing a design studio with progressively complex projects of scale, budget, and size

  • Expert oral and written communication and presentation skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations to Leadership

  • Experience with managing & leading teams, assisting with performance reviews, leading team meetings, and partnering with cross-functional operations partners all the time

  • Thorough understanding of studio workflows. The ability to anticipate resourcing gaps and future needs, and pivot as needed with project shifts

  • Awareness and interest in obsessing CMS authoring/publishing workflows
