KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Development to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in one of the cities listed within this posting.
Strategic and proactive accountability for ensuring technology alignment with business objectives and the KPMG overall technology strategy
Steer overall business expectations, perceptions and support ongoing two way communication of technology strategies, priorities and governance
Direct and lead multiple development projects, development group(s) and/or application support functions in support of multiple clients and business groups; Partner closely with business stakeholders to outline technology fiscal planning and be accountable for overall technology spend
Develop solid business relationships becoming a trusted advisor with key leaders and stakeholders to proactively support business objectives; Business Executive level escalation point ensuring business expectations, goals and objectives are met
Oversee of all phases of the system development and implementation processes including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area's application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, and tools
Manage the team's project planning, scheduling, status reporting and project budgets; Maintain relationships with vendors and professional organizations
Minimum ten years of experience in Information Technology - systems analysis and application program development
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
In-depth knowledge of the system development life cycle, the clients' area's functions and systems, and application program development alternatives
Experience managing and directing systems development or systems maintenance project teams
Ability to develop and execute multi-faceted business plans; Capability to foster the development of high performance teams and ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
