ABOUT THE POSITION

Linxup is ready to supercharge its next stage of growth, and we're looking for a whip-smart Director, Demand Generation to accelerate customer acquisition through digital, traditional, cutting edge, and yet-to-be-invented channels for Linxup's B2B (Linxup) and DTC (MotoSafety) solutions. This role will own and engineer Linxup's owned and paid digital strategy in the pursuit of continual optimization of conversion and ROI.

This role requires a strategist in action: an active, roll-up-your-sleeves player who knows how to identify opportunity, design a plan to capture it, and effectively analyze and clearly report on results. We're looking for a true disciple of agile, "launch, learn, tune" marketing who's obsessed with testing their way to the right answer. This is a highly visible and critical role in our organization. As a people leader, the right candidate will be a motivator, mentor, and collaborator who leads with directness, empathy, and a sincere regard for the career success of those in their direction.

The role requires direct, hands-on expertise in SEO, SEM, CRO, marketing automation, and website strategy, as well as deep understanding of the intersection of these tactics with brand, content, story, and marketing operations/analysis. As the newest member of a smart, creative, collaborative team, you will be expected to show up with all your creativity, discernment, and collaborative spirit to add to the team's success and positive culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the go-to thought-leader for all performance marketing, responsible for leading the acquisition channels, KPIs, and overall contribution to revenue

  • Lead the development, optimization, and management of campaigns across digital channels including search, display, shopping/PLA, re-targeting, etc.

  • Maintain the monthly PPC budget, forecasting, pacing, and campaign creation with an eye toward continual improvement and optimization against conversion and cost per acquisition metrics

  • Own the performance strategy for Linxup.com to turn our website into an engagement, conversion, and E-commerce machine

  • Develop and execute testing and continual improvement across campaigns and channels to target the most cost-effective acquisition opportunities and areas for the highest ROI

  • Partner closely with Sales Ops and Analytics in order to acquire richer insights that inform and guide strategy and optimization efforts

  • Lead the demand gen group not solely as a supervisor, but as a mentor, coach, and guide for the team and the execution of their duties, ensuring growth, improvement, and delivery along the way

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of working experience in a digital marketing, performance-based marketing, marketing strategy, and/or search environment

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field preferred

  • Prior experience managing SEM/paid search for a B2B SaaS company, preferably with experience in SMB markets

  • Proven successful track record delivering revenue generating results through paid search and KPI measurement & analysis

  • Strong analytical skills and expertise, being able to lead and guide testing and optimization, including specific experience in optimizing bid strategies, A/B testing, etc.

  • Experience and expertise in marketing operations, automation and analytics: Experience with SalesForce, Hubspot, GA4, and analytics platforms

  • Ability to interpret data to create actionable insights and communicate results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, executives, and Board members

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing agencies to achieve goals

  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, and often rapidly changing, environment with a strong emphasis on individual contributions and execution excellence
