Our client is seeking an accomplished Data Scientist with proven data management, programming and statistical skills to join the team as they continue to grow as an organization!
In this role, you will lead data science projects that drive product personalization, marketing effectiveness, content recommendations, marketing channel optimization, optimal customer experience while maintaining operating efficiency. You will work play a key role in developing and delivering the next generation of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to the business.
Supervisory skills preferred!
Lead sophisticated analytic projects and deliver innovative technical solutions to improve business outcomes.
Lead the design and development of machine learning models and ensure rigorous validation procedures and best performance.
Work closely with engineers to deploy models in production
Lead key data science projects including the use of new streams of enterprise data and analytics/data governance cross-enterprise.
Function as a subject matter expert on machine learning and predictive modeling techniques
Drive technical innovation through thoughtful research and proactive applications of new theories, techniques, and technologies.
Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings senior management
Master's degree or PhD in computer science, statistics, operations research or a related field
7+ years of experience in data science or related analytical field.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of databases and related languages/tools such as Teradata and SQL.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Excellent time management skills
Expert knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling methods for supervised and unsupervised learning, understanding of underlying algorithms, ability to tune and analyze algorithms and extract actionable insights
Experience working with Big Data
Exceptional programming skills in R and/or Python
Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Teradata, Hadoop, Hive, PIG, Cloudera, Apache Spark).
Experience working with the latest advanced analytics and deep learning libraries and tools (e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch).
