Job Description:

The Parametric Solutions department of Everest Group, Ltd. is looking for a Director of Data Science to join our Warren, New Jersey office.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Supporting underwriters in all underwriting endeavors, including analytical and administrative support

• Interacting with clients and helping to structure contracts

• Creating and running pricing models

• Writing front-end and back-end code for pricing applications, reporting applications

• Developing processes, including automated processes

• Maintaining all relevant data and information systems

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Bachelors or higher in Computer Science, Data Science or other quantitative major
• 5-10 years of work experience

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Exceptional problem solving skills and self-motivation

• Programming/coding skills (SQL, Python, R, C#, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong work ethic

• Understanding of probability and statistics

• Knowledge of data science or machine learning
