Works directly with business teams and platform and engineering teams to ensure growth strategies at CoBank. Essential Functions Set the vision and strategy for data management and utilization. Oversee multiple Data Engineering teams.

Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies in data engineering. Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are met. Education Bachelors Degree required Work Experience 10 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field, required Prior Experience in leadership roles including experience managing direct reports, required Expertise in data architecture and optimization, required Leadership and strategic planning, required In-depth knowledge of data engineering technologies and trends, required (Data Lakehouse, Athena, Pipelines, Glue) Expertise in Cloud Data Engineering, required In-depth knowledge of cloud concepts, especially AWS, required In depth experience with data management Experience with Agile Visionary leadership, required Executive communication, required Business acumen and strategic thinking, required Expertise with AWS development environment and services Experience building self-service tooling and platforms Built and designed Data Mesh architecture platforms A passion for building and running continuous integration pipelines Contributed to open-source projects (Ex:

Operators in Airflow) About CoBank The typical base pay range for this role is between $169,462 - $235,637. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
