Director, Data Analytics And Governance

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Director, Data Analytics and Governance to join our team in our Kimberton, PA headquarters.

Job Summary:

As the Director of Data, Analytics, and Governance, you will lead our Carlisle Weatherproofing Technology's (CWT) overall data strategy, overseeing the collection, storage, analysis, and utilization of data to drive informed decision-making and achieve CWT's strategic objectives. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven initiatives, coordinating activities and projects with Carlisle's Construction Materials division, building, and managing a direct team, collaborating with business facing cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and enhance organizational performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy for the CWT business aligned with Carlisle company's broader organizational goals and objectives.

• Lead the design, implementation, coordination, and maintenance of data systems ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

• Oversee the collection, cleansing, and integration of data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Build and manage a team of data analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

• Coordinate projects, activities, and data standards with Carlisle's Construction Materials division

• In coordination with CWT's functional leaders, implement a process, policies, and tools framework around data governance.

• Create data foundations to be used with data science and advanced analytics along with a multi-year roadmap around artificial intelligence (AI)

• Drive data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, solve complex problems, and optimize processes using data analytics.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate the effectiveness of data initiatives and inform continuous improvement efforts.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards, such as GDPR and CCPA, and implement appropriate safeguards to protect sensitive information.

• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation within the organization, promoting the use of data as a strategic asset.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of data systems, leading vendors, and technologies across various platforms including SAP/ERP

• Provide thought leadership in data governance organizational design and implementation

• Ability to build, manage, and lead a high performing team

• Advanced knowledge of project management disciplines

• High degree of influence and collaboration
