Who we are looking for:

The Director Cyber Operations Client Success Services role is to oversee the Optiv Cyber Operations Client Success Management, Technical Account Management and Services Activation Teams in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. The position is responsible for activities related to maintaining and expanding customer relationships and reestablishing those that have lapsed. The position will take the lead in working cross-functionally to resolve key customer challenges. They support initiatives and other priorities by injecting the customers' perspective into the service development and deployment process. The role requires involvement with key stakeholders and maintains a positive relationship with clients while serving as an escalation point for service delivery. This person will also define policies, procedures, and best practices. The position is closely involved in helping to mentor, develop and evaluate employee performance as well as helping with development and continuous improvement of the Cyber Operations services.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead and inspire the client success team

  • Responsible for the overall Cyber Operations client lifecycle management.

  • Ensure client expectations are set, understood, agreed upon and met.

  • Build and improve the integration process as needed to continue to improve service efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction.

  • Drive the responsiveness to the client(s) of the entire Cyber Operations organization

  • Monitor service delivery for contractual compliance.

  • Provide input and help deliver transition plans from a customer deliverable point of view.

  • Make recommendations for contract changes that can improve service, increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as a point of contact for service levels, escalations and issues for the customer.

  • Working knowledge of business processes and workflows along with the ability to communicate them in lay person's terms.

  • Develop service action plans based on root cause analysis, trends and customer inputs.

  • Communicate service interruption, root cause analysis, action plans, capacity/performance trend analysis.

  • Provide timely, accurate and relevant internal and external reporting.

  • Provide appropriate account specific information to service suppliers.

  • Ensure communications on day-to-day service operations are delivered to appropriate customer staff.

  • Deliver cost-effective, standard customer measurements in line with contracted commitments.

  • Coordinate actions between clients and the appropriate service delivery departments to ensure needs are met

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Success Managers, Technical Account Managers and service activation engineers will either report directly to or be matrixed to the position

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering or similar area of study; or at least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • 5 or more years of experience in service delivery management required.

  • 5 or more years of Project Management experience required.

  • 5 or more years Information Technology experience required.

  • Demonstrated experience building executive relationships required.

  • One or more certifications in Security/Networking including Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or other security-specific vendors/product certifications preferred.

  • PMP Certification preferred.

  • Team-oriented and possess excellent problem solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer relationship skills.

  • Pre-Sales experience selling Managed Services preferred.

  • Manages services scoping and proposal development preferred.

Who we are looking for: The Director Cyber Operations SIEM & Sensor is responsible for service delivery of all aspects of SIEM engineering and content for on-premise, cloud and As-A-Service SIEM solutions and technologies supported as part of Optiv Cyber Operations. The position will a highly technical team responsible for SIEM engineering, tuning and optimization as well as content creation, development and testing. The role requires involvement with key stakeholders and maintains a positive relationship with clients while serving as an escalation point for client SIEM concerns. This person will also define policies, procedures, and best practices. The position will be responsible for metrics showing continuous improvement and efficiencies in the client operational experience, maturing processes and driving scale through the use of security automation and orchestration technologies. This is a high visibility role and requires a strong technical leader with outstanding customer service skills who is able to plan and execute. The position provides Practice Management, Leadership, Strategy, Offer Management, Sales Enablement, and directs high-priority initiatives while ensuring adherence to quality standards. The position is closely involved in helping to mentor, develop and evaluate employee performance as well as helping with development and continuous improvement of the Cyber Operations services. How you'll make an impact: * Lead 24x7 SIEM teams providing operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. * Work closely with customers on reporting, stewardship calls and in the case of escalations. * Enforce all policies and procedures, including those for security, disaster recovery, standards and service provision. * Oversee the security of Client systems, operating systems, hardware, and software. * Keep current with the latest vendor updates, expansion opportunities, and technology directions, utilized in the Clients environment. * Collaborate and consult with other Group Managers on the overall advancement of the MSS organization and Optiv in general. * Direct and drive process and documentation improvement. * Manage financial aspects of the SIEM & Sensor group, including preparation for purchasing, budgeting, and budget review. * Compile, negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements as required. * Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. * Develop and maintain an educational environment where the knowledge and performance of the group is constantly advancing. * Perform annual staff appraisals. * Ensure timely reporting of security control gaps and vulnerabilities to the customer. * Stay abreast of evolving risks, new developments in the security industry and industry best practices in risk management, threat analysis and threat response techniques. * Attend info security related events and networking with industry peers to inform engineering and operations processes of effective risk mitigation strategies for attacks. * Oversee team's production of threat intelligence reports that communicate the results of the analyses to the respective audience. * Responsible for joint team effort to normalize data from vulnerability assessment, penetration test, incident response and application security project deliverables. * Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, other group heads regarding pertinent activities. * Develop and mentor staff through open communication, training and development opportunities, and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES SIEM Engineering and Support Management will report to the Director Cyber Operations SIEM & Sensor * Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering or similar area of study required. * 15+ years professional IT and Information Security experience * 10+ years professional experience architecting, managing, and maintaining SIEM environments at a global level. * 5+ years leading technical SIEM teams. * 5+ years professional experience in cyber operations centers * 3+ years professional experience in managed services * One or more certifications in Security/Networking including Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or other security specific vendor/product certifications * Proven ability to make decisions and perform complex problem solving activities under pressure. * Advanced business acumen and technical savvy required. * Sharp analytical abilities and the ability to make sound decisions quickly required. * Deep understanding of SIEM vendors, solutions and architecture such as LogRhythm, QRadar, Splunk, Exabeam, etc. * Deep understanding of regulatory compliance such as NIST, SOX, HIPPA, NERC CIP, PCI, etc. and their differentiators across global regions * Deep understanding of laws pertaining to cyber security and their differentiators across global regions * Understanding of Security Orchestration, Automation and Response concepts. * Experience working with ticketing and knowledge management systems such as Service Now. * Experience with ITIL concepts and practices. * Experience with reporting platforms such as DOMO and PowerBI. #LI-SM1 All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
