Under the supervision of the Vice President of Direct Marketing, the DIRECTOR, CRM ANALYTICS OPERATIONS is responsible for all marketing systems, processing and analytics in support of the marketing programs. ? Provide predictive analytics leadership within the Company. ? Identify, address and satisfy predictive analytics needs of the Internet/Direct Marketing Departments. ? Enable the Direct Marketing Department predictive analytics practice by developing and executing a technical/analytical tool and platform roadmap. ? Ensure predictive analytics partners provide incremental value to internal efforts. ? Recruit, hire and train qualified candidates to establish a data science practice with the Direct Marketing Department ? Identify Direct Marketing's data needs and work with IT Department/3rd-party sources to establish timely access. ? Manage data warehouse/CRM development projects with customer data platform partners. ? Ensure data integrity of customer records in the customer data platform. ? Optimize the value of customer data assets throughout the Company by providing access to business intelligence tools and data exports. ? Ensure appropriate methodologies are employed so statistically valid conclusions can be drawn from marketing tests. ? Direct research projects to provide customer and market insights for Senior Management and other internal constituencies. ? Perform other functions as assigned by management.

? 7-10 years of CRM experience. Direct Marketing experience with a large multi-channel specialty retailer preferred. ? Demonstrated ability to develop and present data-driven recommendations successfully. ? Experience working with large data sets. Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail. ? Extensive experience using SQL and/or SAS (or similar statistics software). ? Knowledge of statistical methods, packages, programs and methodologies required. ? Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task work environment and under deadline pressure. ? Passion for data and how it is changing the retail industry. ? 3-5 years of supervisory experience. ? Bachelor's degree in Applied Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitatively oriented discipline required. Master's degree preferred. To respond to this opportunity, please contact:

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for market and product strategy and day-to-day execution of a fast growing business in Pharma Analytics. Our portfolio consists of fully integrated testing solutions, including sample preparation chemistry, automation, instrumentation, software and services, and focuses on process analytics technologies (PAT) including product and process contaminants, impurities and quality during the manufacture of biotherapeutics. This position will lead global portfolio strategies, drive innovative solutions to customer challenges, manage day-to-day operations for top line growth and profitability, and provide market leadership in the development of innovative products. Responsibilities: * Develop long-range product strategies and guide fiscal planning for future positioning, growth, and evolution of Pharma Analytics business, including identifying, establishing and managing strategic relationships with customers and industry opinion leaders. This position is ultimately responsible for revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and market share objectives. * Provide product management leadership, from concept to commercialization (full product lifecycle). Manage the life cycle of the existing product portfolio. Responsibilities include five-year product line strategies, pricing /margin optimization, management across the customer value continuum, and customer engagement efforts. * Devise and implement organizational strategies and processes to position Pharma Analytics business for growth and scale, including Quality, PMO, operations, commercial/channel, etc. Develop business cases and recommend investments to drive sustainable growth. * Establish and nurture business relationships with key counterparts and other divisions at Thermo Fisher for joint development and road map for platforms utilized by Pharma Analytics. * Serve as Pharma Analytics champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and directly with key accounts. An effective performer will maintain close interaction with field organization (e.g., sales and technical support) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, pricing tactics, and customer support. . * Champion successful launches through requirements, development, and commercialization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, own the ultimate customer and financial success of new product introductions (NPIs). * Leverage Business Development to develop optimal licensing, partnership, and acquisition strategies that expand product portfolio. * Lead a high performing business team by hiring, developing and engaging talented and motivated employees. Responsible to enable a high performing business team through effective coaching and development. * Contribute to the Purification & Pharma Analytics leadership team, driving collaboration to ensure achievement of growth targets. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with strong analytical skills. An MBA preferred. * 10+ years of experience in product management, strategy, strategic marketing. * 5+ years of people management and business leadership. * Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in the Life Science market required. Familiarity with biopharma manufacturing and critical customer and regulatory requirements is preferred. * Working knowledge of biochemical and molecular biology techniques and lab automation and software applications is desirable. Experience with clinical diagnostic might be helpful. * Strong track record of proactively driving programs forward with a focus on financial results. * Demonstrated ability to drive growth through product innovation. * Demonstrated experience working in a highly matrixed corporate environment. Effective at influencing others and building relationships, using a collaborative approach. * Comfortable with ambiguity and able to quickly to adjust to changes in the market. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Ability to travel 50+% based on work requirements.
