Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Director, Credit Operations to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. This individual will lead a team of exempt and non-exempt associates tasked with timely processing of new account set up, cash application, hassle-free returns, credits and debits, and document scanning for digital storage. The ideal candidate will have lots of leadership experience as well as experience working in a consumer and product-based industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hires, trains and supervises exempt and non-exempt staff in New Accounts, Cash Application, Credit Processing and Record Retention.

  • Provides mentoring for growth and self-development to New Accounts, Cash Application, Credit Processing and Record Retention associates.

  • Monitors and address training issues, performance issues and attendance.

  • Monitors daily departmental workload and allocates resources as needed.

  • Ensures all processing is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Provides proper support for Credit and Sales staff, including but not limited to New Accounts, Cash Application, Credit Processing, Record Retention, and Terms of Sale maintenance.

  • Fosters and maintains a strong team concept throughout the Credit Operations area and with other groups in the Credit department.

  • Works with credit management to design and implement process improvements that improve productivity and efficiency of staff and reduce manual workload.

  • Prepares budgets and monthly benchmarking and variance reports.

  • Monitors purchases and payroll to assure compliance with budget totals.

  • Provides support and knowledge to other company projects as requested.

  • Attends meetings and assists in preparation of documentation, workflow studies, etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience with mainframe systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 10 years of related work experience
  • 6 years of supervisory experience
