The Director of Financial and HR Systems is responsible for the corporate financial and human resource systems for Save A Lot. They provide technology solutions for enterprise financial and human resource functions including: recruiting, on-boarding, timekeeping, benefits administration, payroll processing, general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and financial management. The Director will drive the technology road map and successfully manage complex, enterprise-level initiatives. They will lead the technology team in developing and implementing new capabilities in support of our business and maintain existing technology systems.
Develops and maintains the strategic road map for financial and human resources systems in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Establish an organizational structure and build a high performing team that is well positioned for long-term success.
Participate in strategic systems optimization activities, including assessment of available features & functionality associated with releases.
Manages the full life cycle of projects and the associated planning. Ensures that business deliverables are consistently met and that solutions provided meet stringent quality standards.
Maintains strong relationship with business stakeholders.
Manage program budget, provide financial forecasts, track project milestones, and deliver expected return on investment.
Actively collaborates across all levels of the organization.
Directly manage key vendor and consulting relationships with a high level of accountability and performance oversight.
Ensures data integrity, system security, and testing of system changes.
Must have a strong background in financial/human resource technology, system integration, data architecture, application development, and agile software development methodologies.
Experience implementing and managing cloud based, SaaS financial and human resource systems preferably Oracle Cloud.
12+ years of technology experience with Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
7+ years leading technology teams responsible for developing and delivering corporate financial and human resource system solutions
10+ years of overall software/systems development experience in a complex enterprise environment
10+ years experience with enterprise systems and data integration in diverse technical environments.
5+ years of leading Agile development teams
Ability to lead cross functional teams, projects, and processes
Retail experience is preferable
Deep expertise and experience with solution design and delivery and integration of large-scale complex of enterprise systems
Experience managing and planning technology budgets and forecasts
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
