Job Summary: The Director, Corporate Specialty and Business Pharmacy Services develops and oversees pharmacy business ventures focusing on Specialty Pharmacy services and the 340B Program. In alignment with leadership, this role directs the inventory management, revenue integrity, and analytics of these operations optimizing pharmacy practice and delivery throughout the health system.

Minimum Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), preferred.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid and current State of Oklahoma Pharmacist License.

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in a Pharmacy environment. 1 year recent experience with Specialty Pharmacy or 340B Program and supervisory experience, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven knowledge of electronic health record system and associated pharmacy platforms.

Advanced knowledge of pharmacy business services. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills to promote effective communication, team building, and staff involvement.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership. Ability to organize and prioritize work utilizing strong time management skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Oversees and leads the Specialty Pharmacy services and 340B Program pursuing expansion and strategic development initiatives.

Creates system policies and guidance documents to manage 340B Program compliance.

Coordinates with key stakeholders to ensure vendor partnerships and contracts with prescription benefit management companies align with the health system's business needs.

Oversees comprehensive audits of pharmacy business and 340B operations identifying and addressing compliance issues and opportunities for improvement.

Provides fiscal oversight and related forecasting of financial plans ensuring revenue and program integrity.

Develops and monitors benchmarking analytics for pharmacy business ventures, assessing best practices for services including participation in medication collaboratives.

Participates in departmental and interdisciplinary committees to support the health system's efforts for performance improvement in the areas of patient safety, therapeutic outcomes, and cost savings.

Works with Pharmacy Leadership to coordinate educational activities as needed for impacted SFHS staff as it pertains to the 340B program and Specialty Pharmacy Services.

Remains knowledgeable and up to date on Federal, State and local laws, accreditation standards and regulatory agency requirements ensuring laws and regulations are followed.

Decision Making: Independent judgement in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.

Working Relationships: Direct Supervision of others.

Prepares and gives performance evaluations. Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level and above.
