We are seeking qualified candidates for Director Corporate HR reporting directly to the SVP, Chief Administrative Officer. At Bristow our biggest asset is our people and our HR team plays a critical role in developing and supporting our teams to help them successfully achieve their business goals. The Corporate HR Manager plays a key role in the success of Bristow by effectively managing the HR functions of the business and developing and implementing the strategic HR policies to serve the organizational needs. The HR Manager ensures that a high-quality HR function that reflects the needs of the business while recognizing the importance of employee contribution to the business achieving high performance is delivered. Key clients include IT, HR, Finance, Tax, Decision Support, Internal Audit, Treasury and Safety. Some of the responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compliance, training and development and supporting the implementation of strategic HR programs.


  • Deliver HR guidance and consultation services to all Corporate functions, with a focus on IT, Finance, Tax, Decision Support, Internal Audit, Treasury and HR, through building strong relationships with the employees

  • Advise managers with all employee relations issues including current employment legislation impacts and current disciplinary and grievance procedures

  • Provide independent counselling to employees and managers to resolve work related problems in relation to performance or discipline-based issues

  • Develop and nurture employee talent by actively contributing to performance management and talent management programs

  • Ensure the talent acquisition process supports the acquisition of key and high performing talent with a fast paced and cost-effective delivery

  • Develop and provide realistic job previews for incoming talent and assess talent by coaching management on the talent acquisition process and interview techniques as required

  • Organize and manage all Houston based inductions

  • Provide managers with the necessary metrics to ensure they are aware of how their area of responsibility is performing, and provide creative solutions / interventions as appropriate

  • Assist with workforce planning for Corporate functions

  • Work with HRSS to ensure that workforce tracking is accurate and up to date

  • Assist with budget information as appropriate

  • Lead or assist on key projected by openly contributing ideas and providing required data to project team members throughout the 5 phases of, Project Conception and initiation, Project definition and planning, Project launch or execution, Project performance and control and Project close

  • Lead on U.S. Human Resource Compliance assessment and program compliance to include and not limited to managing the Bristow Affirmative Action Program and ensuring that new and updated policies and procedures are compliant with local laws and communicated effectively to all staff in areas of responsibility

  • Ensure that HR Policies and Procedures reflect current employment law legislation and support our overall people strategies

  • Ensure that human resources services are provided in compliance with Company and Client established system policies, procedures and practices

  • Ensure all pre-employment tasks and paperwork are completed including offer letters, background checks, drug screens etc.

  • Work with local country HR and management supporting local corporate functional areas of oversight to ensure there is alignment within the functions in targeted areas



  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field or equivalent training
  • PHR / SPHR desired


  • Minimum of ten years of progressive Human Resource generalist experience

  • Minimum of 3 years Human Resource management experience

  • An experienced manager of diverse teams and a strong team player

  • Experience in working with different global locations and with different cultures preferred

  • A proven background in providing broad generalist HR advice including policy implementation, and compensation/benefits

  • Experienced in providing support to managers particularly with employee relations, discipline and grievances, talent acquisition, and performance management.

  • Experience in coaching and providing training for employees

  • Project Management

  • HRIS experience is essential

  • Demonstrate a real understanding of business issues

  • Experience of working with change management projects desirable


  • Excellent Presentations Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Microsoft Office, Excel and PPT

  • Detail conscious

  • Results orientated and continuous improvement mindset

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels including with leadership and management

  • Highly organised with the ability to organise own workload

  • Highly-motivated with the skills and temperament to function effectively and efficiently in a Corporate environment

  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Ability to keep a level head when working under pressure

Position Summary: Researches, prepares, and documents corporate-wide accounting policy and accounting-related activities and documentation involving mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Key Responsibilities: Relying on extensive knowledge and advanced leadership skills, the Corporate Finance & Accounting Research Director is accountable for the following responsibilities: * Research, document, and plan the implementation of rules and regulations regarding corporate wide accounting policy, including new US GAAP pronouncements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). * Assist the VP, Finance & Accounting with acquisition purchase accounting activities on acquisitions and due diligence activities on acquisitions and/or dispositions. * Provide, timely and accurate financial reporting services to senior management and regulatory authorities. * Represent company with both external and internal auditors related to financial results as the need arises. * Review external financial reports, including special purpose GAAP and statutory financial reports for the Company and the insurance subsidiaries. * Develop and review executive presentations, external communication data, and management presentations materials for inclusion in Board materials. * Analyze financial reports for identification and presentation to management of key business trends. * Serve as a liaison for Corporate Finance with outside auditors. * Assist the VP, Finance and Accounting, Chief Accounting Officer, and Chief Financial Officer on special projects as needed.
