Position Summary:

This position will be a key member of PFG's Shared Services Department and will be exposed to all aspects of the business through experiential learning and mentorship opportunities. This individual will report directly to the Sr. Director Shared Services located at our Denver, CO Campus.

People or Process Management Responsibility: Responsible for identifying, planning, implementing, and monitoring companywide Accounts Payable best practices.

This role plays an integral part in training and development of other leaders and the team at scale. This includes possessing the skills to perform the functions listed below.

Position Responsibilities and key characteristics will include, but not limited to:

Collaborate with other leaders both internal and external to strategically identify and address ways to improve existing business models and/or develop new models to support business growth.

Leading, developing and training a large team, 60+ associates with multiple layers.

Create and foster an environment that maximizes individual potential and values collective results.

Ability to build strong relationships through multiple layers in both directions.

Aptitude for creating mutual win solutions within a large, decentralized organization with internal customers spread across geography, function, and business segment.

Implement team and organization wide changes timely and effectively.

Utilize goal/objective setting and measurement processes to drive improvement.

Continuous development of the department(s) & function(s) through key metrics

Proven track record of courageous decision making.

Expertise working with very large amounts of data within MS Excel and dedicated other reporting tools.

Manages the performance of department service providers.

Organize and lead special projects.

Assist in acquisition due diligence and integration.

Travel may be required.

Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

10+ years of related experience

5+ years of people leadership experience

Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites

Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Foodservice/distribution experience.

EDI experience

Knowledge or expertise in SAP or other major ERP software
