This is an exciting opportunity to continue the expansion of the Metrological content acquisition team for the Americas! Your experience in the OTT application market, and your understanding of the future direction of pay TV will drive growth for next generation viewing. Building relationships both internal and external including, key vendors, 3rd party organizations, cross functional with finance, product, engineering, and sales will be a key to success. By keeping a pulse on markets trends this person will discover the needs and define new opportunities. Consistent and accurate documenting will be key for presenting opportunity assessments to decision makers within multiple departments. You will team up with sales, key account point-of-contacts, and industry SMEs to drive your success. You will provide leadership and direction across the Company's diverse and complex functions and partners. This role at its core will develop content strategy and define the organizational objectives to mirror the strategy. We expect this person to be able to influence and provide leadership for the group.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new content relationships that will contribute to the growth of the Metrological content catalog.

  • Mange multiple partnerships and communications internally and externally to our MVPD partners.

  • Help to transition current partners to next generation technology.

  • Responsible for Americas' content strategy and will collaborate with European Acquisition team to align global strategy, processes and policies

  • Support organization in meeting revenue goals.

  • Oversees the research, evaluation, and acquisition of new programming and associated services.

  • Support the Sales organization in communicating content strategy with MVPD and other distribution partners.

  • Implements the specifications and features for new programming and ensures adherence to programming standards and policies.

  • Meets with various producers and packagers to hear pitches and manages full process of standard contract negotiations.

  • Utilizes data points to coordinate a formal evaluation process of new distribution opportunities.

  • Conducts standard and complex negotiations.

  • Recruit and develop application development program for the region.

  • Participate in the development of content monetization strategy for Americas'.

  • Regular, consistent communication with global acquisition and Sales organizations.

  • Manage communication with operations team to ensure timely application deployment.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education Level

  • Bachelors Degree, Equivalent or relative experience
