RentPath is looking for a Director of Consumer Product to guide product strategy and execution to most effectively impact user experience and growth of RentPath's brands.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, Consumer, you will lead a team of 3-4 in building and executing a framework and strategy that drives clear renter preference, is scalable and effective. The Product Management team interacts heavily with our Product Engineering team, supplying the critical consumer insights needed to develop the very best products for our consumers.

A Day in the Life

  • You ensure a clear product strategy exists through a thorough understanding of the current business scenario and vision for how our brands should exist in the future.

  • You establish that a translation of the product strategy exists to the degree that the right initiatives are deployed and appropriate resources marshalled at the most opportune times to achieve the priority outcomes that matter most.

  • You encourage that the consumer product team is able to clearly translate the business success outcomes for the features they design along with knowing which data insights are most important, and can clearly articulate and measure what has caused consumer behaviors to change.

  • You demonstrate that the Consumer product team is known to be highly effective at building relationships, largely because of the understanding they have of their partners and customers; what they are responsible for, their mission, and the impact the product team's actions have on them.

  • You assure that the Consumer product team practices the appropriate levels of strategic thinking to coincide with their role and are continuously exposed to development opportunities that enhance their analytical competency for optimal career growth.

  • You ensure that the team is identifying and emulating the correct industry benchmarks in alignment with company vision and strategy.

What We Need from You

  • You have demonstrated success leading teams of 3-6 Product Managers.

  • You have experience executing large-scale initiatives across large, consumer-facing platforms.

  • You have demonstrated success partnering with engineering team in agile (development methodology) work environments.

  • You bring successful experience interpreting complex consumer and behavioral analytics.

VIEW JOBS 10/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-02T00:00 Position Description Overview Reporting to the VP of Product Management, TeleCheck Services, the Director of Product Management will be responsible for TeleCheck's data solution suite of products. This is including products in the underbanked, underserved, and subprime industries. This challenging opportunity requires expertise, curiosity and a high level of innovative thought when it comes to solutions in this space. This role is also responsible for developing and owning strong external partner relationships, conducting relevant business analysis to understand product performance, identifying areas of opportunity to drive additional growth, and improving the client and consumer experience. The individual selected for this position must be able to function in an environment with high regulatory and compliance demands. Job Responsibilities * Demonstrate ownership of product vision and driving growth * Assist in managing issues throughout the process including problem identification, root cause analysis, and client communication * Build strong partnerships with internal support teams to align business objectives to meet the needs and service expectations of our partners * Successfully navigate a highly matrixed organization * Work collaboratively to champion alignment of strategic initiatives * Conceptualize, launch and manage enhancements * Conduct analysis to understand product performance and identify areas of opportunity to drive additional growth * Develop roadmaps with effective outcomes and prioritization (what should happen next and why) * Proactively highlight potential product issues and emerging priorities to TeleCheck and support in addressing them. Coordinate with other groups as necessary * Facilitate the communication and delivery process regarding regulatory changes, product/platform upgrades, and system enhancements * Function as project manager and project owner for related projects associated product strategy * Obtain and leverage competitive intelligence and apply it to solution insights where applicable * Create and communicate product requirements that are actionable for developers, designers and product commercialization teams Job Requirements * Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience * Executive presence and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with all levels within Fiserv as well as within client organizations * Minimum 5 years' experience in a product management and innovation role in a business of at least $50M in revenue * Must have experience in credit data, credit reporting agency, lending, consumer financial advocacy or financial literacy related fields * Product experience, launching and commercializing and presenting products, sales channel building and relationships * A deep understanding of and experience in financial technologies or payments is required * Experience and/or knowledge of the underbanked, underserved, subprime is strongly desired * Demonstrated track record of success in conceptualizing and launching a product roadmap * Demonstrated track record of creating and delivering world class products and solutions * Experience supporting products which are highly regulated by compliance requirements * Adaptive and entrepreneurial leader who anticipates change and is comfortable operating in a fast-evolving environment * Possess the leadership skills to foster engagement and alignment across the enterprise Competencies * Presentation Skills * Problem Solving * Drive for Results * Work Autonomy * Influencing * Financial Analysis * Decision Making & Critical Thinking Flexibility & Adaptability Learn more about Fiserv: Life moves fast.
