With your deep expertise in marketing analytics and business intelligence, as a Director, Consumer Insights & Analytics of KCNA Personal Care, you and your team will investigate deep strategic questions, influence and empower decisions across long-term and annual business strategies, predict sales growth and drive marketing investment optimization. As an influential strategic business leader, you will build strong partnerships across the Personal Care business including serving as a consumer analytics expert with senior leaders, marketers, finance analysts and other key stakeholders. You will provide leadership and feedback in the development across a range of Insights & Analytics agenda of standards and capabilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Owning the overall development and activation of Personal Care's I&A analytics and measurement agenda to reflect the most important questions for the business in support of top tier growth goals. Building and aligning business stakeholders on the analytics and measurement agendas.

  • Leading individually or with team on critical projects or processes that disproportionately impact the business unit's growth goals. Providing hands on guidance and oversight to team on critical projects and analyses.

  • Relentlessly driving toward a 360-degree understanding of our consumers across the consumer journey; provoking continuous improvement and motivating adoption of tools to further this effort.

  • Serving as subject matter expert for team to design and explain analyses using marketing performance and business intelligence tools and results when necessary. Lead supplier conversation in complex situations.

  • Leading resourceful and fiscally responsible mindset by ensuring previous resources are incorporated into learning plans and analyses. Championing knowledge management system across the organization.

  • Leading the Personal Care consumer analytics team, establishing clear accountabilities and ways of working within the team and across key stakeholders. Continuously check/adjust to drive clarity and maximize team performance.

  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team as openings become available. Providing day-to-day coaching and guidance to develop individuals that align to business and individual needs.

    Simplifying complex decisions for direct reports and team and demonstrate strong rationale. Ensuring timely performance discussions and individual development plans. Building and executing I&A training plans to upskill the total KCNA I&A organization in critical areas. Enabling career pathing in line with development opportunities.

  • Maximizing the Personal Care consumer analytics investment by assuring that agendas and resources are aligned to strategic areas for the business and drive towards value creation.

  • Providing oversight, expertise, and guidance to suppliers in designing complex analytics and measurement projects, interpreting data, writing reports, and communicating actionable recommendations. Build strong partnerships with strategic vendors.

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

Essential Knowledge/ Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience in consumer analytics and marketing measurement.

  • 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performance teams within a consumer insights and analytics function

  • Direct experience in consumer analytics at a CPG, retailer, or supplier. This includes driving strategy, explaining business performance, and answering complex business questions with syndicated data sources like NielsenIQ, Circana, Numerator and/or NPD. Additionally, this includes direct experience at a CPG, retailer, media agency or supplier in leading advanced analytics solutions like market mix models, sales lift analyses and people-based measurement to optimize marketing investment.

  • Innovative problem-solver who leverages consumer analytics to support strategic decision-making and challenge the status quo.

  • Experienced in building high-performing teams that develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and encourage professional growth. Committed to creating a fun and rewarding work environment.

  • Demonstrated success in driving business results through objective and fact-based analysis, understanding market dynamics, and translating consumer analytics into actionable strategies.

  • Skilled in building and maintaining trust-based relationships with teams, stakeholders, and agencies to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.

  • Performance-driven with a test-and-learn mindset, and a focus on critical thinking to assess, interpret, and integrate learning from multiple sources to drive better results in an agile way.

  • Exhibits leadership in improving organizational performance by applying original thinking to existing and emerging methods, processes, and services.

  • Demonstrates empathy and care, with the courage to have difficult conversations and raise critical issues under challenging circumstances.
