Cond Nast is seeking a highly motivated Director of Commercial Strategy to join the dynamic and rapidly evolving global advertising business. As Director, you will be responsible for helping to define the Cond Nast value proposition to global clients, advertisers and internal stakeholders.
This includes identifying and establishing CN's position within the context of competitors and larger global market trends, distilling CN's unique selling proposition into a concise narrative that creates wantedness and demand among top advertising partners, and building a strategic go-forward plan for Conde Nast revenue organization.
This role collaborates with key stakeholders across the organization including sales, marketing, creative, data and research, CNE, CNX, communications, business development, edit and global teams to develop macro strategies and positioning that aligns with current market conditions, while emphasizing the core principles of the Cond Nast brand.
The right person for the role is a collaborative leader with experience in fast-paced, creative, and analytical work environments. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Commercial Strategy.
Understanding of the global market trends, opportunities, platforms and dependencies
Identify and develop macro-company strategies for the revenue organization that have a measurable impact on our business
Build Conde Nast POV's around ongoing opportunities and market trends
Develop and execute Conde Nast value proposition
Ability to derive shrewd insights from market and company data
Foster deep relationships within Conde Nast departments for always-on collaboration
7+ years of relevant professional experience required in marketing, insights, sales and product marketing; experience of working with global markets preferred
Bring a sense of "fun" that inspires others and creates a healthy environment
Be proactive, nimble and willing to pitch in wherever needed, as we are an evolving company
