About the Position:
The Commercial Sales Director will administer, manage, train, mentor, coach, and supervise a team of 6 Commercial Account Managers tasked to deliver upon the Retention and growth of Sungard AS revenue within an assigned portfolio of 340 high-value Commercial customers. The Commercial Sales Director will also be responsible for working closely with Sr. Leaders to ensure the portfolio of Sungard AS services align with the requirements of customers and facilitate growth.
This position will be responsible for all daily management and strategic success planning for team of direct reports to obtain and exceed all KPI's pertaining to retention rates and sales quota's in addition to the participation in leadership discussions for ongoing planning and improvement of our overall sales strategies.

Satisfy all KPI's related to proactive customer outreach and funnel yield.
Develop and maintain strong professional acumen across the sales team.
Through inspection, ensure Forecast and customer facing activity is recorded and maintained in Salesforce.com.
Support the team in identifying and closing potential growth opportunity within assigned portfolio.
Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management and/or attempting to include Sr. level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
Understanding of decisions and the serious impact on the overall customer experience and/or related growth opportunity.
Participates with other Sr. level Management to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Candidate must be experienced in IT Services and inside sales and be able to direct the day-to-day operations and management of a 6 person team managing existing accounts with the goal to renew and up-sell existing accounts. The successful candidate must have individual sales expertise within this role as well as successful management skills within mentoring and growing an inside sales team to create revenue and account retention.
College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum 5 years IT services sales.
Minimum 5 years within Management of an internal team preferred, $30-50M quotas.
Demonstrated experience within strong sales negotiation and closing skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a winning inside sales team to meet individual quotas of $3-5M.
Excellent project and time management skills required along with ability to spot trends impacting revenue goals (positively and negatively).
Must be proficient within MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other ERP data applications.
Fast-paced quota environment within a complex IT Services organization.
Heavy in/out bound telephone and e-mail communications.
Travel: Min-10%/Max-20% for trainings & meetings.
