Scope3 is the industry's leading collaborative sustainability platform. By modeling the complex digital advertising supply chain, we help brands measure and dramatically reduce digital waste to reduce carbon emissions from advertising and increase the efficacy of advertising investment.

We're a well-funded startup with an accomplished leadership team - many of whom designed and engineered the digital advertising landscape as we know it today. The company secured $20M in Series B funding led by GV in Oct 2023 (additional investors include Venrock, Rucker Park, Room40 Ventures, and Craft Ventures). Scope3 has significant market traction with more than 70+ customers and is experiencing accelerated growth.

About the role …

Reporting to the Global Head of AdTech Platforms the Director, Commercial Enablement will drive activation and monetization of Scope3 powered products including Green Media Products, Measurement, Data, and API integrations. Working closely with revenue teams at our Platform and Publisher partners she / he will evangelize Scope3 in the context of our partners' commercial "GTM", establish deep one to one and one to many relationships with client commercial organizations from the C- Suite through individual contributors. To accomplish commercial enablement's goals the Director will act as a resource for ongoing education related to Scope3, its offerings, digital advertising / media sustainability and general AdTech industry trends as well as supporting pitches and the RFP process.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up environment, be an AdTech domain expert and as well as a successful track of achieving commercial results, ideally in the context of an emerging product category.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive monetization and activation of Scope3's solutions with Scope3 customers and partners.

  • Develop the model for partner enablement - work closely with Business Development and Customer Success colleagues on customer execution.

  • Develop sales enablement strategies, trainings, webinars and playbooks to maximize Scope3 revenue and success with partners

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with the world's leading AdTech Platforms.

  • Understand and leverage the dynamics across the ecosystem that drive activation.

  • Collaborate with Scope3's sales leaders and executive team to hone our ATP go to market strategy and its execution: iterate the client engagement model, be a conduit between the market and internal teams, and collaborate with marketing to develop our messaging and thought leadership.

  • Be an expert in Scope3's products. Effectively communicate the company's mission, value proposition and vision to prospects, customers and partners

  • Become an expert on sustainability in ad-tech and evangelize the mission of decarbonizing media and advertising through industry events, blog posts and client events, and more.

  • Identify market opportunities consistent with Scope3's mission that leverage its capabilities and expertise.

Your experience:

  • A consistent track record of driving adoption and influencing revenue in an enablement or partner management role.

  • An AdTech / Programmatic ecosystem expert. Intimate knowledge of how the ecosystem functions, the economic drivers and how the pieces fit together - understands DSP, SSP, platform and publisher reporting relationships, who are the major players, how they buy and from whom.

  • Have an established network as well as credibility as an industry expert. Be a thought leader, leverage opportunities to evangelize Scope3's point of view.

  • A high level of intelligence, able to grasp and solve complex business issues quickly and creatively.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic start up environment.

  • Excellent communication skills: writing, collaborating, negotiating, persuading, public speaking and listening
