POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Co-Manufacturing Sales will be responsible for driving business growth through management of strategic co-manufacturing customer relationships.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

(i.e., Policies, procedures, goals, etc. for which you are responsible.)

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP / SALES / BUSINESS

  • Responsible for the daily management of Co-Manufacturing Customer expectations.

  • Production, shipments, quality and pricing,

  • Ensure prompt resolution to Customer complaints and problems.

  • Management of Customer new product commercialization and productivity activity.

  • Negotiate and manage long term contracts.

  • Provide Senior Management guidance on long range volume targets.

  • Accountable for achieving budgeted volume

  • Responsible for development of new business opportunities with Consumer Packaged Goods companies

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

  • Lead new product innovation aligned to Customer strategic growth goals.

  • Partner with Culinary and Research & Development to identify innovative products that address Customer needs.

  • OPERATIONS

  • Maintain knowledge of company manufacturing capabilities and capacities.

  • Work with Operations to identify and implement cost reduction/capacity enhancing programs that benefit the company and customer.

Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and minimum of 10+ year's related experience.

  • Must understand the dynamics of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

  • Must have a solid understanding of customer relationship management.

  • Strong Financial acumen

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.

  • May travel up to 75% of the time.
