Responsibilities

The Director of Cloud Computing Platforms and Information Security role will maximize company sales growth and profitability delivering Cloud Computing, End User Information Computing Technology, and deliver Information Security Governance, compliance and programs for the organization. The Director will lead the architecture and foundation of cloud computing platforms within the organization and develop strategic relationships with third party cloud vendors maximizing growth and scalability and information security principles by working closely with internal and external technical team members and with top management to help IT deliver the expected strategic benefits for the organization.

This individual will be skilled in working across departments to collaborate with Business Unit Executives, Business Managers, User Experience, Application Architects, Engineering Delivery Teams, Project Managers, QA, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for department financials and annual expense budget.

  • Accurately forecasts capital or operating expenditures to meet financial objectives on an annual basis for hardware, software and project costs for Information Technology and Information Security projects.

  • Directs team responsible for the design and implementation of Cloud platforms, infrastructure hardware, end user equipment and software that enables business applications.

  • Evaluates emerging computing architectures and technologies and recommends desirable computing platforms, and/or hardware and software upgrades for internal platforms relevant for the business.

  • Directs and leads development of IT procedures, contracts and procurement strategies and setting up Cloud Services contracts or capitalized equipment procurement, operational maintenance and service level agreements.

  • Directs and holds IT stakeholder responsibilities for Information Technology projects that include project timing, resource availability and overall staffing requirements.

  • Directs the department with IT Security stakeholders to maintain and adhere to ISO Security 2700X Standards and PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance in the company working with Internal Risk and Compliance and integrating IT Stakeholders.

  • Directs Information Technology Department and Business Units defining Information Computing Technology Computer and Telecommunication Use Policies, Incident Response, and Security Awareness training.

  • Directs Information Technology Department and Business stakeholders leading Information Technology business continuance team and participates in the creation and audit compliance of the company's Business Continuance Plan.

  • Support all efforts and initiatives across all business channels in an effort to maximize company sales growth and profitability.

  • Key individual and focal point with business departments identifying key issues, IT investments, delivering IT services and improving service levels.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or relevant years of experience in the Information Technology Field

  • 10+ years previous experience in managing business infrastructure, technology and/or support or equivalent

  • Experience with High Performance Computing Technology, including Hardware, Software and industry vendors specializing in Retail Industry Solutions including Point of Sale, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Merchandising and Supply Chain Systems.

  • Strong understanding of Cloud Platforms including Azure, Sales Force Cloud Commerce, Google, specializing in Digital Commerce, Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence software.

  • Experience in Retail Industry to meet PCI-DSS annual compliance and certification requirements

  • Experience in Managing a Program Management Office to communicate security projects and communications in the company.

  • Experience in enterprise security architecture design.

  • Experience in enterprise security document creation.

  • Experience in designing and delivering employee security awareness training.

  • Experience in managing staff.

  • Experience in researching security tool sets, recommending their acquisition and deploying them.

  • Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP and other network administration protocols.

  • Formal ISA (Information Security Assessor) Certification

  • CISO, Chief Information Security Officer Certification

T Technical Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in handling external Information Technology vendors, suppliers and outsourcing partners to acquire assets and services.

  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and working with Corporate Counsel for contract approvals.

  • Directing cross functional internal teams in managing and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure.

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the company systems, policies and procedures.

  • Develop and evaluate IT service level performance measurements and Information Technology Audit Compliance

  • Manage all aspects of performance and development of direct report associates to encourage professional growth.

  • Perform annual reviews for associates.

  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork

  • Ability to review, adopt and measure changing business strategies that impact our technology planning, financial decisions and project milestones.

  • Ability to advance the company utilizing technology improvements.

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with all company associates and business contacts.
