Job Summary: Is responsible and accountable for safe and effective care delivery within assigned area(s) 24/7.

Manages all material, financial and human resources within assigned area(s). Assures competent staff performance and promotes staff development. Is the primary retention and recruitment officer for the unit. Complies with and supports hospital and clinical services philosophy, policies, procedures and protocols.

Minimum Requirements: Baccalaureate degree in nursing required by 12/31/12. MSN, MBA or related Master#s degree required for external candidates.

For incumbents, upon completion of BSN, must be enrolled in Master#s program with documented completion date. For internal candidates, must have BSN and be enrolled in Master#s program - as stated above. Three (3) years recent experience in practice specialty or related specialty, with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Active membership in a minimum of one professional organization.

Professional certification in clinical practice specialty or nursing leadership. Licensure and Certifications: Current PA Registered Nurse license.

Current BLS provider. HTFSJ #LI-MH1

This position requires the individual to take extreme ownership of lean initiatives, business growth and strategy . Represents the institution in community, civic and professional activities. Oversees LVHN Imaging and Phlebotomy areas at LVH-Pocono main hospital campus and LVH-Pocono outpatient sites. Assigned areas include: Radiology Administration, Ultrasound (General, OB/GYN, and Vascular), CT Scan, Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Breast Health Services and Phlebotomy. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Three to five years in a radiology leadership position, Radiology experience is required.
