Director, Claims Service Operations

We are looking for a dynamic leader to direct the Claims Service Operations Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, investigation, and resolution of claims, ensuring a high-quality work product, while continuously developing talent by assisting with the selection of top talent. As a Claims Service Operations Director, you will promote a culture where all are committed to providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for directing claims associates. Managing and improving performance in claims has a significant impact on the profit and growth of the Company. You will review workflow and procedures with other departments and within the Claims Department to recommend procedural changes.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be willing to promote a positive and productive work environment. The candidate must be able to work under demanding conditions. Prior or current liability manager experience required.

Must be able to speak in a clear, empathic and professional manner by telephone

Must be able to document files in a clear, concise, professional written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization

Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the insurance departments of various states

Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills

Must be able to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

Must have the following education and experience:

Claims management experience
