KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Center Design Lead to join our KPMG's Delivery Network for Audit organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Global Audit Leadership and KPMG Delivery Network leadership to understand the KDN Audit vision, develop the delivery center enablement strategy, report progress and resolve issues

  • Oversees the development of the target operating model design for the KDN Audit initiative including key governance, people, technology and process considerations

  • Partners with the KDN Audit Solutions Lead to understand priority services and solutions and jointly develop a plan to operationalize them within the KDN Audit delivery center network

  • Builds and leads a team of professionals to stand-up new centers, certify existing centers, implement enabling technologies and mobilize other activities necessary to bring the KDN vision to life

  • Develops collaborative working relationships with representatives of KPMG member firms to build enthusiasm, collect input, identify potential accelerators and address concerns

  • Partners with change and communications professionals to oversee the development of an effective member firm activation and adoption program; identifies and adheres to applicable policies as established by the global firm, participating member firms and the KDN Audit program

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience planning, designing, building or operating delivery center related initiatives

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of target operating model elements and specific considerations for delivery center initiatives, specific knowledge of Audit services and/or KPMG's delivery centers preferred

  • Experience designing, building and launching new services within multiple delivery centers

  • Familiarity with industry standards (CMMI, ISO) and other levers to drive quality

  • Strong executive communication skills (written and verbal) and a collaborative mindset, ability to lead a large, geographically diverse teams through obstacles, complexity and uncertainty to reach our collective goals

Colorado Salary Statement:

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Colorado Salary Range: Low: $140800 - High: $265200

GPU Shader Lead Hardware Design Engineer THE ROLE: We are looking for engineers who are motivated to challenge the status quo. If you are excited about building the next generation GPU shader core, our team is on the lookout for you! You will be part of a fast-paced team working on the GPU shader design, a team of engineers of varied disciplines who are responsible for micro-architecting, designing and delivering GPU shader IP for various products. Since we are the heart of GPU engine, we strive to challenge ourselves in exceeding area, power and performance targets. No idea is too small; we welcome every initiative that makes our product better. You will be working on the Simd Processor (SP) block of the GPU Shader, the parallel compute engine of the GPU ISA (instruction set architecture). The SP is a compute intensive block for which highly efficient ALU design is critical. High computation throughput is a key performance metric, so highly efficient data flow and instruction pipeline architecture is also critical. The SP must be capable of execution and co-execution of instructions with a minimum of stalls and pipeline bubbles. The SP is the dominant Shader block for area and power. SP quality is a highly visible project performance contributor. You will work with software, architect, micro-architect and physical design team members to maximize the performance of the most complex and critical of the Shader blocks. THE PERSON: You are an "out of the box" thinker, motivated to absorb dynamic changes and thirsty to keep innovating. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Collaborate with block architect to define and document SP block micro-architecture * Consult with other GPU shader blocks to define data flow in GPU shader pipeline * Lead SP block designers to deliver efficient hardware for next generation architecture of Shader SP block * Supervise, organize, train, and review work for SP designers * Assist block team manager in strategy, planning, scope estimation, and progress reporting * Consult DV engineers in describing features, outlining test plans, and closing on coverage * Assist DV engineers to debug functional, performance or power test failures * Work with Physical Design team to close on timing, area and power requirements PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * Industry experience (8+ years) in hardware design and overall ASIC design flow * Industry experience leading RTL designers at a block or subsystem level * Industry experience in GPU shader pipeline or CPU core pipeline and ISA * Industry experience with IEEE floating point ALU design and superscalar execution pipeline * Industry experience in analyzing and optimizing power, timing and area trade-offs * Industry experience using various EDA tools for functional, performance and power validation on pre-silicon, emulation and post-silicon environment ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: * Bachelors or master's in electrical/electronics engineering.
