The Director of Acute Care Case Management oversees all activities for the Case Management department. The Acute Care Director of Case Management is responsible for the preparation/management of budgets and the supervision of staff, while ensuring quality care and service for patients. The Acute Director of Case Management demonstrates strong critical thinking and leadership skills, serving in both liaison and support capacities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Director of Case Management experience in an Acute Hospital setting
• New Mexico Registered Nursing license

Responsibilities:

• Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal and personnel activities of the Case Management department
• Prepares and manages budgets, manages and supervises staff
• Ensures quality services are provided through daily operations
• Manages and oversees plan of care for patients
• Serves as a liaison and provides support
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
