RN Director of Case Management
Greater Orlando Area, Florida
The RN Director of Case Management is responsible for hiring, training and retention of talented and committed team members. The Director of Case Management develops and maintains a dynamic team of Case Managers, Social Workers and support staff through the promotion of professional practice, mentoring and training to ensure system success.The RN Director of Case Management effectively communicates expectations to team members to gain support of objectives.   The Director maintains accountability for individual areas of responsibility. The RN Director of Case Management identifies additional strategies for strengthening professional role of Case Managers in the organization. The Director assists with the development, communication and implementation of methodologies to enhance Case Management program effectiveness.

Qualifications: 

• Registered Nurse required
• Master's degree in Nursing required
• Director of Case Management experience in an Acute Hospital required
• National nursing certification required within six months of hire.
• Certification in Case Management is required within six months of hire
• Experience in care delivery models, health care delivery systems, CQI process, and budgetary process

Responsibilities:

•  Leadership and/or management experience
• Provides administrative structure and support to manage and direct the services provided in the Case Management Department
• Accountable for strategic planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision of systems to support the department's goals, and the organizational goals
• Provides leadership to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care, and the departments focus on assisting the patient/client in navigating through and transitioning out of the health care system
