Role and Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The key role of Director, Integrated Marketing (IM) is to support Home Entertainment management to define the corporate/business division strategy and to translate into concrete IM initiatives. As a core member of the highly visible IM team, this role will include:
Build new capabilities, improve processes, and drive performance around critical business initiatives.
Responsible for building cross-functional consensus on strategic projects, leveraging data-driven insights around products & consumers.
Will work closely with the IM Leadership Team and Home Entertainment LT and across cross-functional teams to ensure that strategic initiatives align with Samsung Global and Samsung Electronics America's medium- and long-term strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead Strategy & IM Development:
Lead IM execution, setting strategic priorities, evolving conflict into consensus, and driving flawless day-to-day execution. This individual is the central point of communication and coordination for IM Projects, Initiatives & Programs, internal and external, and is responsible for driving actions across the broader organization. This individual will coordinate with domestic and global partners to advance corporate objectives.
Support and apply in-depth strategic insights and thought leadership on marketing industry, channel, and consumer trends
Provide business updates, KPI dashboards and prepare strategic business presentations to both local and global leadership
Tracks strategic initiatives. Monitors progress towards goals, achieving benchmarks, and ensures follow-through on the part of responsible team members. Provides as needed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
Monitoring key market developments that can influence SEA business (competitor, macroeconomic, etc.)
Extracting insights from open (media reports, market reports, government data, expert interviews) and internal sources (business performance and P&L reports, etc.)
Serve as key point person for how HE is showing up in xLOB and Corp Marketing initiatives
Review creative campaigns for insights-driven, consistency, product positioning and messaging and ability to achieve KPIs
Executive Communications
Drive all Executive Communications for the IM team by working with Top Management to develop best in class presentations and communication materials
Mentor and guide junior Managers to ensure successful delivery of all Executive communication and continuous relationship building with Executives
Preparing C-level reports communicating findings in a succinct and visual manner
Manage Large Scale Strategic Projects from Concept to Launch
Lead and facilitate cross-divisional projects on key strategic issues based on senior management request
Create business cases, financial analyses, and ROI assessments based on understanding of SEAs capabilities, financial principles, and strategic insights
Develop new frameworks/best practices to strategically utilize data to drive new market assessment, demand & forecasting projects
Actively solves complicated issues by analyzing situations or data. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
Effectively leverage data to identify opportunity and determine success
Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Necessary Skills / Attributes:
Undergraduate degree, with focus in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance (related to Business) a plus. Strong background in deep business insights is required, advanced degrees and/or MBA are a plus.
12+ experience as a strategic and problem solving thinker who can turn strategic objectives into practical (experience working in consulting, or internal strategy roles preferred)
4+ years' experience working in Business Analysis, Management Analysis or Data Analytics role
Strong verbal and written communication skills and facility for establishing relationships cross-functionally and cross-divisionally
Strong presentation skills demonstrating the ability for effective story telling
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, and/or success in operations roles within a professional services firm or corporate environment, helping companies to identify, clarify and resolve complex issues critical to their strategic and operating success
Expert in Excel and experience with developing complex macros and automation in excel
Strong brief-writing skills
Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or Adobe Analytics (certification in Tableau a plus)
Travel - Up to 25%
This role requires being onsite in Samsung's Ridgefield Park, NJ office Monday through Thursday
