The Director, Business Development
Build and manage pipeline of opportunities of ISR/COTM services and solutions resulting in closing opportunities.
Identify and put "offensive pursuit focus" on list of major programs / opportunities.
Capitalize on relationships to build revenue-producing opportunities.
Identify users' needs and requirements and mobilize existing technology to meet the need.
Prospect, propose, and close new revenue from products and services to new customers.
Evaluate and develop potential partners (hardware, software, infrastructure, and services) to expand the solutions portfolio.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on companies within the airborne unmanned sector.
Write proposals, documentation, and presentations for customer-facing activities.
Stay connected with customer throughout the process to ensure ease of delivery and avoid delays.
Follow-up after sale is complete to confirm that all systems are operational and to establish future needs and/or referrals from other departments or customers.
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant technical field
10-15 years of job-related experience within the ISR and Mobility sector
Established and qualified pipeline and decision-maker contact list within ISR and Mobility sector
Working knowledge of MS Office and CRM database management software
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude
Demonstrated professional stability and commitment, as well as the ability to initiate, maintain, and sustain successful long-term relationships with clients
Solid track record with successful account management and sales
Effective and polished written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to conduct high-level presentations
Experience working in a performance-based environment
Team player with strong customer service orientation
